Hello Warriors,

Some of you may already know this method and if so then Great, Put it to good use!

For the others that don't know, you may find this very helpful in ranking higher in the SE's.

What I'm about to tell you was tidbit that I picked up from Jim Daniels a while back.
I figured you could use this info to gain an edge on your competitors.

I'm going to share with you an easy way to Get High PR One Way links to your site any time you want them.

This method is so easy it nearly feels criminal to do it but it's not. It's Totally Legal.

With this slightly twisted Article Marketing method you can get High One Way PR links whenever
you want them.

====================================

Alright, If your interested Come closer because I don't want non-Warriors to here this ;-).

====================================

Here are the three tools you'll need in order to do this and the chances are, you already
have them laying around available.

1. You'll need a resource for viewing website PR ratings. (I use the Free Google Toolbar)

2. A Tracking Sheet with three columns on it. (Pull out a piece of paper and create three
columns on it and label them: URL, PR, Live Link)

In the first column list the URL of the site that you'll be researching.

In the second column list the PR of the article pages themselves.

In the third you simply place a "Y" for yes if there is a live link from the article's resource
box back to the author's web site. Or "N" for no if there is not.

3. Last but not least, Your Own Articles.

That's pretty much it. As I've said, it's really not hard to get high PR one way links to your website.

For you to be successful at this there are Two things that you must do first .

1. Locate sites that accept articles and that do a fairly good job of directing PageRank (PR)
to their articles pages.

The pages you're seeking should sport a PR3 or better. You'll be amazed at the number of
sites that don't.

2. Be sure that they include a live link back to your site from the article you submit.
You can check this by looking at other articles posted on their site.
Remember to make sure the pages that the articles are on sport at least a PR 3 or higher.

Unlike linking to links pages, your articles will ensure your site will get the lion's share
of the sites PR rating.

While others are bopping around trading links, you're silently acquiring high search
rankings by merely submitting articles.

Now for the tedious part - finding sites to host your articles.

Typically article directories, banks and the like are NOT going to be your best bet for
getting a high PR rating. I'm Sorry to burst you bubble.

Now, I'm not saying you shouldn't't submit articles to them as part of an overall article marketing
scheme. What I am saying is, Just don't expect too snap up many high PR one way links is all.

Instead you want to use Google to help you find individual web sites that post articles.
There are many ways to find them. Let me give you an example of one.

Finding Sites to Submit to
Simply(using the google toolbar) do a search on your "target keyword phrase + articles".
And don't forget the quotes. Doing it this way tells Google to return all pages with both
the keyword phrase and the word articles on them.

This should return a large list of sites in that keyword niche which host articles on their site.

At each site, look for article pages that have been around for awhile. (Many sites will show
the date the article was posted. Other times you just have to guess which might have been there longer.)

Make sure you keep an eye on the PR of those pages. Checking three or four such pages should
give you an idea of sites the PR potential. On your Tracking Sheet list the highest PR you find
also take note if the links in the resource box are live or not.

Once you run through the first list try another focused keyword or try a related niche.
Remember that the more you search the more you'll begin to see many peats and repeats.

Don't quit searching until you've got a nice starter list of 20-30 sites that have both, a
high PR and a live link back.

After you've got your list and without using hype, self promotion and without adding
affiliate links, write the best, most informative, helpful article you can.

Now, Submit the article to the list you just developed.

If you've article is a better than average article you can expect at least 10 or maybe even
15 out of 20-30 sites to post it.

Just like that you've got 10-15 higher PR one way links pulling your site skyward. In many cases
this is probably more than most of your competitors have,. and that's just with one article.

Rinse and Repeat

That's right. Once you've got one article in motion, look for more sites. Write another
high quality article. Submit it first to those who posted your previous article. They
should be your preferred class and get first crack at your new one. Then submit it to the rest.

Pretty simple isn't it? Yet this pretty much lays out how to get High PR One Way links
to your site any time you want them with out having to return the favor.

Have a Great Day!

good advice... i have seen the benefits early on when I've done this method... the article does need to be of high quality if you want people to repost it elsewhere.

Wish I had time to write more articles.

I have a stupid question.....When you are talking about page rank exactly what does it mean? When I look at the page rank on google tool bar it will 3/10 or 1/10... So which is better a higher number or a lower number?

        Sorry for being so dense.

        Thanks Mike!

great strategy! I did a search just for fun for "internet marketing+articles"

you should probably go further than first page to find these sites in this particular niche...

I did see something else interesting... there is one guy, offering to add his articles to your blog and make money... the deal is probably to change the sign by the affiliate sign.

I did that with an adsense site some time ago. Found a prolific author in my niche in EZA and asked him if I could change the link by the affiliate link.

        He said: you bet!

        It was sooo nice...

The higher the better Lucinda. PR 1 is the lowest and PR 10 the highest and best.

PR 3 level sites and above are the best to get back links from. Just make sure that the links do not carry a 'no follow' link, or the search engine spiders will be unable to follow that link and give you any credit.

Okay now for my next question...How do you know if the link is a no follow link or not? If you are able to post your bio information with a link to your site wouldn't that be a do follow link?

Lucinda, one way is to use a browser plugin, such as the one Aaron Moser linked to.

Another way is to do a "view source" on the article page, scan down until you find the resource box for the article, and look for the phrase rel="nofollow".

I kinda thought that my changing the thread title might bring a few more
Warriors in to discover the Secret "G" document.

Maybe they thought the thread had became "R" rated or something worse...lol

Any way, I can go to bed now knowing that someone received the information.

When you say "live link" you mean "do-follow" right?

Here's a Firefox Plugin that highlights no follow links so you can tell at a glance if your link will carry over any PR to your site.

Also one other thing... You say to find these sites and submit your article to them. You made it sound like you can submit them easily like you would submit and article to an article directory but in reality you'd probably going to need to contact the site owner and work out a deal to get your content on their site.

Reason I bring this up is cause I don't know of any kind of sites that accept articles like this other than article directories.

        Great tip though!
