First time selling domain name

Hello,

I am the owner of SoloAdsOnly.com and for various reasons would like to sell my domain but I am not sure what to do first or where to go for a domain appraisal. I hope some of you can give me some direction in this.

    Hi maggytyger, first of all, please do not throw away your money on an appraisal. The only time you need a professional appraisal is when you have a very high value domain name (10k plus). For run of the mill domains, getting an appraisal is useless. If you hired 10 different appraisal services, you would receive 10 very different numbers.

    The best way to determine the value of a domain name is to compare it with similar domains that have already sold to an end user. You can do this by going to a site like DN Sale Price- Domain Name Sales Price and History. Plug in a few details about your domain name and you'll get a list of 'comps' with their actual selling price. It's much like when selling a house... you want to see what other similar houses in your neighborhood have sold for and price yours accordingly.

    Does it have a monthly income ??

    in general people are willing to pay roughly 10x your monthly income. so you can expect at least 10x of the income amount.

    Of course it's really matters what is the worth of your product, which you are going to sale in order to get the best price. And for it you can do search to find the best deal for your domain.
