Your opinion on setting your affiliate link as a page

Hi All,

I just recently decided to add one of my affiliate links as a page (permalink directed to an external url) to my wordpress blog. It was done very recently so to early to track it and see how it's working.

My question is, has anyone else done this before and have they had good results with it.

      Hi GerBot,

      Just wondering if this is an effective way of getting visitors to the sales page and the likelihood of it converting to a sale as oppose to writing a review article on the product, including a sponsored banner or utilizing email(or other text-based) marketing.
