I'm doing some offline consulting for a local church. One of the things they would like is to be able to track 'support' action items. For example if a new person comes to the church and wants additional information about children's ministry they may ask the front desk or send an email. In either case we want to track that request to make sure it is completed and doesn't fall through the cracks. We also want to make sure we can redirect requests too.
I'm thinking that an online ticketing system might work. Obviously we want a cheap one (free open source would be best) but the bottom line is that we need one that can accomplish what I have described.
I'm raising this question to this forum to see if anyone has experience with a ticketing system that will meet this need.
