How did you feel after you made your first sale?

A few days ago I finally made a sale on one of my blogs. It wasn't very much but it was something. It was the first sign that my hard work is paying off. I have been doing some social bookmarking, article marketing, and submitting my RSS feeds. I started this blog about a month ago and I have managed to get a page rank of 1 for all my article marketing efforts. When you made your first sale did this inspire you to work harder? What did you do to keep making sales?

excellent. Getting my first sale is better than Viagra, and my mrs definatly knew about it that night...so that is what I did. You can never beat the feeling of people buying stuff you created...

Now go create your own product, build a list, give them help and great stuff, and you will make it big time. That is what my mentor said to me, and when I put it into action i saw BIG BIG Results.

    Go go...

I made my first aff marketing money the other day. $0.40 via adsense.

I was so excited I ran into the kitchen and announced to my wife and kids that we could all quit our jobs and school, etc., because we were about to get rich. I did a little dance and they just stared at me with blank, pitiful expressions.

yeah, I'm a newb. this is a fun little game we got going here.

That's how I felt. I will definitely get excited once I have made back all the money I have invested on eBooks, software, and internet marketing courses. I have only been working at this Internet Marketing thing for a month and I am very impatient.

I got pretty excited, but that was for maybe an hour or 2 at most.

I'll be excited forever once I start making a good consistent income online.

I think there are more experienced marketers that can answer the question about the list. Have you built a relationship with them?

Making your first sale is the best feeling, especially with all of the hard work you have put in. I think its a decent boost of motivation to keep you going, as things should only get better. =)

I felt pretty pumped. I was glad I didn't put in anything but my time which is way better to put in than money. But it was an inspiring experience for me

I felt great. All the word I'd done had paid off and still pays off. The thing that got me was. Within minutes after the euphoria, I went now what? That really surprised me.

On to the next project as quickly as possible.

Don't just dismiss the small amounts. They all add up. If you had 100 small amounts it is bigger than 100 no amounts.

I was ecstatic! Immediately greed set in which inspired me to continue and work harder and from then on I have been gradually building up my website network and repeating my strategy.

I was excited when I got my first Adsense payout and it made me realise that I could make money doing something I enjoyed doing. Now I get a buzz every time someone buys my book, or becomes a member of one of my courses, or when I make a chunk f Amazon commission off one product sale and realise my keyword research actually paid off!

The key is to just keep taking action and watch the income grow

I made my first money on line with adsense and it felt great it took a few years before I started to make some real money using blog and affiliate products. I remember working really hard on some blogs getting them listed in the search engines and adding affiliate products and really forgetting about it until one day I looked at my CJ account and about feel off my chair. I had made over $300 in just a few days and it kept going up.

I felt just as good making that few cents with adsense as I did with that $300, just never give up no matter what, just keep going.

Good for you! Making the first sale is such a fulfillment. You're right, hardwork has finally paid off. But it doesn't end there. The first one is just your motivation to aim for more.

Well done. Hope thats the first of many for you!

I remember how good it felt when I made my first sale just under a year ago...

It really gives you the belief that this stuff really does work if you put in the hard work and take action.

You'll find that if you keep working hard and learning new stuff and take action, that more success will follow...

I was ecstatic when i saw my first scale !

That was mostly cause it was completely unexpected though...
I had been trying out this thing with press releases and was never expecting it to work, and it did all of a sudden... out of nowhere ! :p

That single press release went on to get me 9 more sales after that... each at $ 37 :p

Still, none of them felt nearly as good as the first one

I felt ecstatic and even more motivated to continue making sales. The best part is the validation. When you make that first sale, it validates to you that you can make more sales. All you have to do is keep up your efforts, and adjust when things aren't working anymore.
