What Stats / Metrics Do You Track?

Hey!

Thanks for reading this post.

I started a "Vital Stats Dash" as recommended by Eben Pagan and I am tracking the following stats:

date, unique visitors, opt-ins, sales

Do you guys track any other stats? Is there anything else you like to monitor?

Time on site? Page views? Email clicks or opens? Traffic sources? Bounce rate?

Thanks for the feedback.

You rock,

~Sean

Beg to differ - I use Google analytics to track my stats and it gives very good information. Anyone can put google analytics on their site.

      Hi Sean,

Yes tracking as many stats as possible for multiple urls is very useful to say the least. I suspect from what I've learned, most site owners will track their activity regardless how or where.

I like to use StatCounter.com and definitely Google analytics ie also Google Webmaster. Hosting companies offer real time stats as well, if you are designing you own service, maybe look at some of these others as a reference and go for it

I usually track where my visitors come from, it's important as I buy advertisement and I would like to see whether it bring me traffic.
