Marketing a Clickbank ebook

I have an ebook that I market on Clickbank. I get a few sales, but far fewer than I used to get about 7 years ago.

Are there any courses or strategies to increase the number of Clickbank ebook sales?

Thanks,

Jon

Not sure... but maybe what you are selling might be out of date or their is no longer an avid interest in the market. Do some research and find out what is "hot" right now. You may find your product a little out of date. That is just my two cents.

And if you're convinced that there is a demand for the product in question, and you're just not being able to tap into it, try looking for some JVs here on warrior...

It certainly is possible to sell a book that was first written 7-years ago - I have two I sell better today than when they were developed in 2001 and 2003 respectively. I do update them (a day or two tops) each year with feedback from customers, research, experience, etc... but largely they are the same ebooks that were selling 7 and 9 years ago.

That said, you have to keep your eye on two important things...

        1. Competition. I had new competition come in about 2-years ago in one of my niches and cut my sales in half until I found a way to improve my offer (not by cutting price) and sales are back above where they used to be. So, look at your competition on Clickbank to see who has entered your space and why your market may be going to them instead

        2. Your sales copy and overall site design. Back 7-years ago you could slap together just about anything and sell ebooks, today it takes some better copy and more professional looking site design. It also may take a different sales process where you capture leads first and then market your ebook so that you can give multiple exposures to your audience.

        Hope that helps,,,

        Jeff

Just think evergreen niches. That's what would sell for 7 years or more. Example-people had Acid Reflux 30 years ago and people will continue to get it 15 years from now. That ebook will sell forever, in some shape or form.

Now the IM niche is different. The shelf life of a new, typical IM product could be anywhere from 2 to 6 months. That's what might NOT sell for 7 years, an IM product. Maybe some will, depending on the Guru of course.

Alexa is right - if it is the book in your Sig then it looks a "little" out of date - especially this niche is pretty fast moving and I think you could do a lot by updating the look and feel of your site, and probably overhauling, tweaking, modernising your copy too.

There are a LOT of guides to ebook creation, selling ebooks, selling on clickbank, and there is a lot of free information too, heck it is what half of this forum is centered around Do a bit of research with the search function here, but also look to the other products in clickbank who are successful in your niche and see what they have that you haven't.

    Good luck!
