Looking for a Wordpress plugin what can do this....

Hi fellow warriors,

I am looking for a special wordpress plugin or maybe it is just a simple plugin

If I write a post I want to hide some content from the preview post on the mainpage on my wordpress blog.

I want a plugin if they click on Read More you will see the blog post(same as you click on the title of the post)

To explain a bit more,if you click on Read More you have to go to the single post view.

I hope you understand what i mean.

You don't need a plugin for that (if i'm getting you correctly).

The WSIWYG editor on WP allows you to add the "read more..." tags in between articles...

That's already built in to Wordpress. Either click on the "more" button on the toolbar where you want it to break or insert the following code from the html tab:

  But if i use the Read More from wordpress it goes to www.domain.com/title-post-and-rest/#more-5
  
  But I need to go to www.domain.com/title-post-and-rest/ when I click on Read More.

Just curious: What's the idea behind wanting to do something like that again?

Or is it just "I am a bit crazy" ? :-)

  This has to do with a special plugin which loads when the blogposts are in singlepost view.

You don't need a plugin for that.

Customizing the Read More WordPress Codex

Scroll down to "Link Jumps to More or Top of Page" and add the code to your functions.php file which you can find in your WP admin > Appearance > Editor

That should do the trick.

Note: The last line of that file should be

?>

add the code right above that so the ?> is still the last thing. The code works, I just tested it.
