When i say good living i know good can mean different things to different people... so let's say is it possible to get by making $1600 a month promoting one product without PPC or other paid methods?

Definitely don't put all your eggs in one basket - it could leave you stunned with no income one month if something goes wrong, the product gets removed, or changes owners or something.

As Alexa suggests I would more recommend focusing on one NICHE. Within that you can find out which product converts best for you and CONCENTRATE on mainly promoting just one if you really want, but it is great once you start getting results and sales that you can recommend different products of interest, and of course if your key product dissapears for some reason you can redirect people to another, or already have others which are making you money too.

In fact, I just completed an ebook about it today and it's available in the "make money online" section of the forum. You can definitely promote just one product as long as you promote it avidly.
Thanks for that i just downloaded and i will look into it.

yes it is definately possible, I currently make circa $2400 per month promoting one product, however, it is not advisable, if for some reason you get that site blacklisted by google then say goodbye to any income! it's better to have multiple sites.

if that 1600 is coming in from organic traffic then just invest a little bit of it in to a steady stream of backlinks and content. then you can just leave it alone and the income should keep coming with very little attention.

then as they say rinse and repeat

Why would you only want to promote one product?

I personally promote many new products that come out and do six figure a month in affiliate commissions with no paid advertising... just purely from my list.

So I would highly recommend you build a huge list in your industry and then continually keep promoting related offers to that list, especially during launches.

    That's it.

If you only promote 1 product ...you are really limiting yourself, how are you going to make back end sales? how about expanding you have to take on new traffic sources that may not be worth while?

Nothing is impossible, but it seems like more effort than needed (if I did I would choose a continuity product) in fact most of the affiliate products I promote are continuity products

With PPC & the right product it's possible to make $xx,xxxx - $xxx,xxxx/mth. But be ready to jump to next big thing as the product lifespan at those $$$ levels usually only lasts 12mths or less. Organic traffic will always bring in some sales, but not sure if you can regularly do double digits per month with organic only. Though I'd dare say someone is, if they have high traffic sites.

    yes, ABSOLUTELY.

One site ranked high in Google with one product can *easily* make $1600/month. And i have abandoned ****d Adwords a long time ago already. Focus mainly SEO --> get sites up + Article Marketing. QUALITY SITES, nice design, value!! No sales letters, but nice banner for product.

And: YOU MUST diversify and not put all eggs in one basket. If something happens, Google penalty etc... (happened to me a while ago)....you wish you have more sites! Income is 100% and 1:1 dependent on google Position, even #1 <---> #2 makes already a huge difference.

Yes, but to FIND that one product you will have to weed through about 10+ products to find the right approach and offer.

Its all a numbers game. The more you shoot the more you hit.

    Plain and simple.

    Any questions let me know

I think you need multiple clickbank products to scale that kind money from clickbank sales and its important to generate direct sales as affiliate commission of clickbank is too high offered by vendors.

I wonder why you would want to expose yourself to risk should the product be removed for any reason. Diversifying your product base is understandably more difficult to do due to the work load, but in the long run it is safer and probably more lucrative.

It's better to outsource this extra workload than to simply depend on one product that you have very little control over.
