TECH GEEKS, HELP!
K I'm being left in the dust here with my video production software so it's time for me to upgrade. I would like to purchase the Adobe CS5 production suite but just found out you have to be running a 64bit operating system to run these programs.
SO, currently I'm running 32 bit Windows XP. I have a Dell XPS that's a few years old with a Pentium D 2.8GHZ dual core processor. I have heard that this processor can run a 64 bit operating system. Is that correct? So if I upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit I should be good to go?
Sorry I've done some research and am finding conflicting answers so before I spend hours trying to figure this out, thought I might ask somebody who knows. Thanks! - Eric
