INTERNET MARKETING

Im trying to set up a facebook ad for the workshop in Bristol next month...

But I am struggling with finding targeted interest around IM stuff

If you are on facebook what sort of interest do you have listed in your profile

interests.

You might consider...

Email Marketing
Affiliate Marketing
Making Money Online
Online Business

And, of course, targeting the UK audience.

Robert,
Here'a a great way to find the target demographics for facebook ads (Not my technique, learned it from another marketer.)

Find a site that is directed at UK IM'ers. Go to Quantcast and punch it in. Let it pull the typical demographics for those that visit that site. Go to facebook and use those demographics. That way you cut down on the demographics that aren't as likely to be into UK IM and you can get a much better ROI for your facebook ads.

Nothing about IM in my interests, but I do list my business in the employment section of my profile. I haven't advertised on Facebook, but is it possible to target ads to that info?

I don't put many business interests on my profile, but if you targeted cognitive linguistics or Beavis and Butthead, you might get a hit.

Thanks guys, bit of a moot point now

I have been running the ad for the workshop for 6 weeks, they initially didnt have a problem with it. Now though because i made some cganges to the demographics i got this message from them
