Whatever happened to www.resellitforprofit.com?

Mike I was wondering the same thing. I wanted to get in there and grab something I saw the last time I was there. I have a lifetime membership, so didn't think there was a hurry. I am surprised there hasn't been any emails or messages though. He is usually pretty good at that.

I have been a happy member for almost 2 years or so. It would really be a bummer if a lifetime membership was only 2 years. I hope he gets back online and it was just a glitch or something.

I hope he is ok himself though. I too would be interested if anyone has any info at all.

I didn't have a "lifetime" membership, I paid by the year, but I was really happy with how diligent Michael was with uploading new content. He had some pretty awesome PLR/MRR products for download, some with pretty huge files... It was always a no brainier renewing my membership with resellitforprofit.com every year...

I am also a member of Dennis Becker's Earn1KaDay.net membership site, and Dennis does a great job of uploading great PLR and MRR content into the download section. So between resellitforprofit.com and earn1kaday.net, I was pretty well covered. If I needed PLR or MRR material for any projects I was working on, I could pretty well find it in one of the two sites.

It will be a bummer if it is truly down... and I do hope Michael Barcus is ok...

I'll be looking also if resellitforprofit.com stays down. But I'm spoiled. Michael uploaded quality PLR/MRR products to his site, megaproducts that were megabytes in size.... not just a bunch of silly crappy ebooks...

I hope Michael is ok...

I'm not sure how long ago you posted this, but I also am a lifetime member of www.resellitforprofit.com. Unfortunately with all of the projects on my plate I kept putting off downloading the products I wanted till a later date. I really hope it's not too late. I agree, it was a great website. I hope all is well with Mr. Barcus and that the site comes back on soon. Please let me know if you have heard anything.

I have tried hitting him up on Skype but no good there.

Mike is a teriffic fella and his website is my first stop when looking for plr or mrr products.

Folks,

I'm in the same boat as everyone else with Resellitforprofit.com (lifetime platinum membership, etc.). In fact, I was looking to see if there was any info on why it was down and I saw this thread on the google SERPs page for resellitforprofit.com.

Michael has had some health problems in he last year, and his son was also having challenges. The site still shows as registered (I first though he'd let the domain registration lapse), but you cannot ping it (old geek's trick) which indicates that it's probably something with his hosting.

I may be able to offer some help, though. Michael's site was my SECOND favorite site for PLR/MRR. The FIRST favorite has a free membership that will give you some idea of what's available. The full membership is $19.95 PER MONTH! This is truly the deal of the decade, and has saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars (I have cancelled every other PLR subscription but Resellitforprofit and this one).

There's an archive going back several years that has literally thousands of products. These are not crummy $5 reports, etc. that some PLR sites offer (yes, I've been burnt before). This is first-class, current, product and content that I'm proud to offer to my lists (or use myself).

One recent example is that Mark - the site owner - has purchased the John Delavera mega-bundle that was offered recently and will be posting products gradually on the site. That cost thousands of dollars! Frankly, rarely a day goes by that he doesn't upload something or ten.

I've gotten to the point that when I see a PLR or MRR product offered, I don't buy it - I check ResellRights first. If it's not already there (rare) I request it in the forum that he's set up for that purpose. If it can be posted on a paid membership site HE WILL BUY IT.

  If anyone hears ANYTHING from Mike, please post it here. I've tried everything from emailing him, faxing him, even posting in the support forums on his other sites. I've gotten nothing.
  
  He was out for several months with back surgery and the last communication we had directly he said he was suffering with much pain from that but he was able to work some.
  
  I check the who.is listing for his site about every other day and it's now changed to show that the site is inactive - although he's got the domain registered for years to come.
  
  I was a lifetime platinum member as well, and like many of you, I didn't just download the whole site at the outset because I figured I could just grab what I wanted when I needed it. Wish I had grabbed everything and grabbed new stuff as he put it up.
  
  If I am able to get in touch, I'll post any results here.

Just sent you the info. If anyone else is interested PM me and I'll get back to you. It's a monthly subscription that costs about what 1 MRR product sells for. There's a free trial.

I had more or less replaced resellitforprofit as my main source of MRR/PLR before the site went down. Still, I'm sorry to see it go.

  I was also a member, and I have known Mike for quite a few years so I 'm surprised to see that he has has been down for such a long time. He helped me alot by sending traffic to my site and I did the same for him.
  
  His site and mine are similar but I don't have life time membership, but the membership for warriors is extremely low, so if you have not found a site to get your products check out my site it is in my signature.

PLR products are hardly that expensive that you need to worry about wasting a lot of money. Not to sound promotional, i just made a little store myself and some of the stuff goes for pennies. There is great potential and many, many ways how to use PLR to your advantage.

Right now i am looking for (and adding) more complete PLR niche sites because i think that such sites have the biggest benefit and ROI.

Yeah, I contacted Brian and he's never heard of Mike. The odd thing is that Who.is lists Mike as owning that domain Resell Rights, Master Resell, and Private Label Rights as well as the .com domain. But, Brian says he has no clue who Mike Barcus is.

Will let you all know if I hear anything from Mike.

The mystery deepens...

And no really knows what happened? This is probably the biggest gossip group on the planet... And that the website would end so suddenly without warning... Odd...

Lesson learned here is that nothing is forever. If there were products that we were remotely interested in, we should have downloaded the packages.

So, any suggestions from fellow Warriors on a great PLR/MRR membership site to join?

I had a vip lifetime membership. Now. Zilch. I have had to remove stuff from my websites just in case I ever need to replace a product. I have tried everything possible including calling Mike. It is really wierd because to date he has been the # 1 online partner for me. Even if Mike has more health related problems it should not really have led to the site being down. I am staying well away from any more 'memberhip sites'

There has been several posts wanting to know the whereabouts of Mike Barcus of www.resellitforprofit.com I did a search in a few of my PI databases and located a good, current phone number. I have called the number several times and left messages on an answer machine, explaining that I am a friend wanting to know if Mike is okay, but no one calls back.
So...your guess is as good as mine as to what happened to Mike and what is going on. I know if I got sick and was away from my internet business for an extended period of time, my wife would not know how to keep it alive. (I suspect I am not alone in this area) She tolerates my love of internet marketing, but does not share my love of internet marketing.
Perhaps Mike has shown us a hole in our business model that we need to fill, just in case something happens.
Anyway, if anyone has any additional information about Mike, please post it.

I agree that what has happened is not intentional. Mike has worked too long and too hard to build a great website to let it go away.
I have called and left messages at his home and have also written letters with no response

I am so sorry to hear that Mike's site is down. It was a good one and I will also miss it but products are easily replaced. Good people aren't.
I wish him and his family well... no matter what.

You have some nerve. I don't know Mike. I have never even heard of Resellitforprofit.com until this thread. But from what everyone says he seems a good guy who has health issues (himself and his family). So don't call him a scammer.

Businesses go out of business, close, all the time. Sometime without notice. I've read about wedding stores going out of business leaving the bride without a dress right before her wedding.

It's unfortunate. As business owners we should have things in place to at least send an email out that you're shutting down. But we're not perfect.

After reading this post I feel worried for this guy and I don't even know him. Yet you start calling people scammers. Losing money is no fun but if it was due because something bad happened, well at least you have your health so grow up.

This is wild...I was just thinking this week...boy I haven't heard from him in a while....I am lifetime member for years...he always emailed when either he or his son was sick and would say he'd be out for a while but would be back...not this time ...then I see this post...I hope all is well with him...can someone pm the site alternative?

And I want to also point out that he is a person and not just a marketer.

A couple of years ago, when his son had health issues, my wife ended up at a treatment facility in Montana for a month... talk about huge medical bills... and it occurred just when I was needing to renew my yearly membership.

About that time, Mike had sent an email to his list giving us an update about the health of his son, and I replied that I understood what it was like to have a family member with health issues, and mentioned my wife and her challenges.....

And without asking (and I did not expect it) Mike renewed my membership and at a higher level ... all without asking for a single red cent....

Class act all the way. That made me a customer for life.

I hope and pray he and his family are ok.

Actually, his wife and his "Marriage Broker" are from Kyrgistan, but both moved to the US. His marriage broker moved to upstate NY in March of this year. She emailed me and said she would try and get in touch with Mike, but I have not heard back from her.

Hey David,

I'm coming in extremely late, but I'd love to be part of this.

I was a Lifetime VIP member of Resellitforprofit.com and have been extemely worried about Mike.

That's how I found this thread.

As some people have mentioned, Mike was injured a couple of years ago - he broke his back at work, and spent several months in rehab.

More recently, his son had major heart surgery.

Like others have said, I found Mike to be very diligent in updating the site regularly, and was quite shocked at his sudden departure.

I find it difficult to believe Mike just abandoned the site. I've been a member of over five years, and nothing like this has ever occurred before. (He's always let members know what was going on, and if there would be a lapse in service.)

I even offered to help Mike keep the site updated while he was in rehab, as I'm sure other loyal members probably did too.

If you still want JV partners, David, please let me know via PM.

Hi George and thanks for your response! You're right, PLR's aren't (that) expensive but who wants to keep buying stuff that isn't what they wanted (but they thought it was) and ordered because of all the hype? That's like buying stuff you don't need (coming home and saying "Look honey--look at all the great DEALS I've got--and they look at you with the EVIL eye!") and then having to figure out what to do with it to get rid of it. That's wasted money (and time) right? (smile).

Hey kiosk2,

It's The 7thDwarf here and you are right about Mike, he is a genuine marketer and I've had SEVERAL conversations with him about his boys and his sons heart surgery and his broken back.
He has always treated me above what you would expect and was an inspiration to me in times when he knew I was ready to chuck it all in.

Mike even gave me a Lifetime Membership to RIFP on the top level, so I probably have all that you do as far as downloads are concerned.
I continue to try and contact Mike on a regular basis and as yet have had no joy.

I've just discovered that these websites are still live and will check to see if Mike is still the owner. They were links on the RIFP pages inside the zip files he gave us when we downloaded software from the site. Take a look.
It may be just that the domains and hosting have not run their course yet?? I'll look.

Hi, I am a person friend of Mikes. I have a couple of Phone numbers, and if he is well, he will take my calls. I will try him today and then in a couple of days. I will keep you posted. Mike has a crippling injury to his spine, and that is why, when you lodged in to his site, the video he had, was him in a wheel chair. I know he was having some problems last time we spoke, but he is a great guy, and is not out to disappear. I will keep you all posited. Thanks, and lets all say a small prayer for Mike that all is well with him and his sons.

Hi Kiosk2,

I had 5 or 6 phone numbers, and all have been disconnected. One of the reports I ran previously shows his social security number, and assuming the worst, I ran it thru 2 different Social Security Administration Master Death indexes, and the ss# has not been reported as belonging to a deceased person, so that was good.

I also checked the obits in his home town and found nothing.

The rest of the story will eventually come out. Frustrating though. I just can't imagine that of all the websites he had, and in all the social websites, and from all the people that knew him that no one knows the story.

I have been trying to contact Mike Barcus on a continuing basis and will persist until I find out one way or the other, he is a "Good Guy" in my books and always will be.
I just sent him another message and gave him the address of this page so that he may see for himself 'if possible', that people are genuinely concerned for his welfare and not just where they are gonna get their next PLR fix!

His home telephone number has been disconnected and most of the email address for him bounce. Not sure how you are attempting to contact him, but I honestly think if he were alive, he would have responded to some of the many people that have tried to contact him over the last 4 or 5 months by email, telephone messages and by snail mail.

Also, I do not think it is reasonable to think that he would allow his websites to default. If he did not want to maintain them anymore, he could have easily sold them for a nice profit.

Good luck to you, and be sure and let us know if you find out anything, but I don't think he is around anymore IMHO.

We don't know what happened to Mike, but I will keep sending him messages (tweets) until I find out. I do owe him that much.
Like you said, his details do not bring any results in death indexes for NJ or U.S. in my searches either.

Thanks to everyone who has expressed a concern about my well-being!

I am back online again. First I wanted to say that I never intended to steal anything from anyone. Due to a series of events which I will not go into right now, the site and all communications were down.

Those of you who have know me for a while know that I am not a crook. Resellitforprofit was not one of those here today gone tomorrow sites. It was online for 4+ years.

When I started resellitforprofit.com one of my main goals was to be the kind of admin that people would respect and look up to. I always prided myself on answering my emails and helpdesk tickets asap. Personally I hate site owners who will not answer help requests. (and I know alot of so called "big names" who don't)

Luckily I had the site backed up for the most part and am attempting to get everything up and in good running order again.

Once the site is going again I will send a more detailed message to all members. I will also try and check in here in case someone has an immediate concern.
