Check the Warriors for Hire section here, plus freelancer sites like GetaFreelancer.com, Guru.com or eLance.com.

Check out Tyrone Shum's stuff on outsourcing. He has a free eBook which might help with all that and there is loads of information on his Blog.

Check John jonas stuff at replacymyself.com if you can afford $97 a month but there is plenty of freebies to learn from too.

bestjobs.ph is a good site to hire filipinos but they have restricted registrations for some reason. Although you can get access to bestjobs.ph via Tyrone or John's program.

    Hope it helps

I use guru.com when I outsource. E-Lance is better organized but they won't let you pay outside of their escrow service. Guru.com, well, they strongly recommend to to use it but they don't make a big deal when you pay through paypal.

Personally, I hire Indians. They are very knowledgeable and very courteous and professional. Keep in mind if you hire an Indian that, their 8AM is 10PM in EDT.

I've personally had a lot of success with Odesk, and I love the way they handle payments and reporting.

Odesk and Warriors for Hire have worked well for me. And while I've had mostly good experiences with RentACoder, their interface is awful.

    Hi dennewbie,

Its great to know that you're considering outsourcing for your business. I suggest to hire a staff from an outsourcing company instead of getting a freelancer. Staff leasing is better than freelance work because leased staff are permanent workers of a company and are easy to reach in case you need them.

We have experienced VA available for your deployment. Please see my sig for more information. Check your PM and hope to hear from you.

It all depends what your looking for. There are VA services on this forum just use the search. I think they will set you back about $75 per week. Which is not bad at all! You can also use places like microworkers or mturk for smaller tasks!

You've had most of the good places mentioned already.

Just bare in mind that often people are just going to tell you what someone told them, they may not have used the site/service themselves.

The Philippine sites are an example, there are some people branding themselves as 'offline' gurus and so if one of them says "you should get people from the Philippines" then lots of people suddenly start saying that's what you should do.

You need to try some places for yourself. I have good people in India that do great work and are reliable and I personally know quite a few successful IMers who also use teams in India.

I've tried people in the Philippines but not got great results - so it's really down to you to check around and try for yourself.

I like Odesk too and have also had good results from lots of countries using Elance - so check for yourself.

Some of the new sites are being created by IMers to make money from fellow IMers looking for outsourcing, so make sure you know who you're dealing with too.

With all that said - my best programmer, who's been working with me for 4 years now full time is in the UK. This means we can meet up in person and that makes a huge difference for me. We're going to need to get him more help soon, but I've asked him to look for people he would be happy to work with rather than me finding people.

If you find one good person who is reliable works well - it can often be better just to let them find people to work with and then let you know.

Make sure you have good systems and processes so that your outsourcing is effective. Outsourcing will only grow your business is your business is sound, otherwise you'll be paying more money out and not necessarily growing your business.

    Good luck with your efforts.

    Andy
