99th Score Sign Up

Still playing with it but I thought I would check in with the warriors for some more info.

The traffic is pretty targeted. If someone sends an email inquiring about the services they will get a content rich email with a link to obtain the free Ebook/Strategy guide.

Also plan to have ezine articles and you tube videos linking to this sign up form.

The end products we are selling are private 1 to 1 tutoring and also a semi-private webinar with 5 people. I am thinking about using the standard model of getting them into the weekly webinar ($50 a week) and then upsell them to private 1 on 1 tutoring $150 per hour.

Our ideal customer is a proffessional who has been out of college 3+ years and is looking to go back to business school. Achieving a high score on teh entrance exam will get you accepted to better schools in turn a better career.

I have used the offline gold technique to acquire this client and now I am looking to roll out some marketing and bring in some reveneue. Which I also get a share of.

Any input or guidance on the opt in page is strongly appreciated. Also any info on the process would be helpful.

Proccess goes.

1) Drive Traffic to Opt In
2) Autorespond email contains good content and will offer link to Free Ebook.
3) Ebook will have lots of marketing and describe our products but also have awesome content. Not just a sales message people will be happy they got the book.
4) Autoresponder email every 2 days offering tips on the test taking as well as marketing for the webinars and 1 to 1 tutoring.

Very excited to be working on this project. I have negotiated very lucrative terms for myself and I am thoroughly impressed with the product. Other companies charge $250 per hour and we beat them hands down.

I will also be putting togethor a video opt in page but that will be step 2. I need to get this one live ASAP and begin gettting traffic to it.

I like the content, but you need to center the opt-in fields. I would also perhaps create an ecover of the guide. If you don't know how, it might be worth the minimal investment to get one made by a pro. I'm sure you can find someone here who'll do it pretty inexpensively. I think a good template might help, too, so it's not just text on a plain white background. At least maybe a table with a single-pixel border to box it all in.

I like the simple bullet points with quick info about why your guide will help. That's the most important part. The rest is just for professional / visual appeal (which is also important for higher conversions).

    Good luck,
    John

Awesome guys thanks. Yeah I was thinking about getting an Ebook Cover to put on there.

I will implement the changes and repost.

Any other comments on the page? Or maybe even the proccess?

It looks like you have everything centered, so they're not lined up properly. You can use a table with no borders, align the table to the center, and then align all of the text to the left inside the table so that all of the paragraphs and bullet points line up. It'll look more professional.

    Hi CashDoctor,

    That's good for a start.

I would create a table, and then put that information inside of it so it stays in the center of your screen. This way the page stays within a specific viewing area ... right in center view.

Come to thing of it, you may want to create a table, then put a table in it with 2 columns, then put your headline at the top, your bullets on one side in one cell, and the subscription form in the other.

I also think you will probably get more people to sign up if you do away with the "Phone number" field. It's a big turn off to some people.

You might even want to use a colored backgraound like dark blue. That helps people stay forcused on the page too.

    Hope that helps...

Here's what I'd do to begin with:

-- Change "You're about to learn..." to "Discover the..."
-- Change "Inside you'll discover..." to "Revealed/Exposed inside:"
-- Make the bonus mentioned in the last bullet time-limited; might increase conversion
-- Drop phone number from the form

Of course, my preferences might not be that of your target market

    Don't forget to split test!

    Good luck with it.

    UPDATE!

Wow progressing well on this page. Thanks for the tips I am working on them now.

What do you think so far???

Phone Number....... Hmmmmm. I really want the phone number so I can call people and sell them on our webinar and private tutoring. I am kind of thinking the phone # is the cost to get the free guide. I think I can take the hit on the sign ups but improve the quality. I was thinking of following up with each person who got the book to start our relationship.

The target market is looking for individualized tutoring. I figured this one step would be a step in the right direction. "the big companies don't care who you are even after spending $2300 on a 3 week course we are callling you up after downloading our free ebook. or something.

Anyone know anyone using IM for this type of service. I have a goldmine on my hand. Our product is better than some other companies which are making $10+ million in revenues a year. I am in charge of sales. I need to get this thing ramped up quick.

My first thoughts were to set something up like this I can drive traffic to and build a list and then we can market to them and test out and survey what our customers want.

    And then build from there.

I would suggest moving the ebook graphic to the left, make a two column table at that point, and put the graphic in the left box and then put your subscription form in the right side box. This way all of your content will be seen in one screenshot with no wasted spaced.

I also prefer a different font than Times Roman for the web, maybe try Tahoma.

It's also good to let people know who you are, to build trust in starting a relationship with you.

Great info. I like that all in one screenshot that makes sense. I will also check out Tahoma.

Anyone else have any great ideas?
