Twitter Has Over 100 Million Users
Just read it on Web Pro News that Twitter announced that it has 105,779,710 registered users, as well as that it gets about 300,000 new users a day, receives 180 million unique visitors a month, and 75% of traffic comes from outside of the Twitter website.
I did know that Twitter is really high traffic website but these numbers are really astronomical and mind boggling. I am happy if some days I get thousand visitors a day and 5 new users.
I am just wondering how did they start up. Was it a small experiment or where they planning to get that sort of traffic from the start.
And way they do not monetize all that traffic.:confused:
