Is it possible to make a good living selling Amazon Products?

Recently i started promoting Amazon products as an affiliate. I have built 5 sites now. My traffic from Jan 1st to March 31st was 52 unique visitors.
From April 1st to April 17 i have 76 unique visitors already.

My plan is to build 50 sites promoting various Amazon products. I like promoting Amazon products better than ClickBank because they are pretty much sold already on the product, you just need to tip them in the right direction. Attached is what i have made so far.

Have you ever read Niche Marketing On Crack? There was an affiliate link on this forum somewhere. It pretty much exactly answers your questions and validates your assertions.

It's definitely possible. I know lots of people who make a living online
by promoting products from just one affiliate program.

If you can drive target traffic to your site then you can make money with any product or affiliate. It is all about driving TARGET traffic.

Isn't Amazon's commission rate extremely low? If so, if you're going to spend a lot of your time setting up sites to sell third-party products, you could be doing a lot better trying to move products that pay substantial commissions.

Yes it is low but Amazon is a trusted site known by just about everyone and their products sell really well.

Yes, you are correct robvegas626. I recommend doing a little research and using Commission Junction. You will be much happier with the $$ than with Amazon.

I Go Hard = "Slanguage" for putting forth a lot of effort.

Don't be an arse and try to flip something you clearly have no knowledge of against me.

    Shannon,

You can do well with Amazon....Based on your screenshot, I would guess that you are promoting products that sell for under $100 each. I did that at first and as soon as I went for more expensive products, I saw much improvement! So take a look at your product mix and start promoting your more expensive products!

Also be sure you really optimize each site before you move onto the next one.....Look at each site and see if each product permalink as well as your main site rank well on Google (1st Page)....It's tempting to scale up whereas the quantum leaps truly occur when you get lots of traffic coming to your site....That's where backlinks can truly help!

I have done pretty well with it over the past few months but I agree with BIG Mike ... diversify.
