urgent merchant account suggestions needed

by redguru 7 replies
My merchant account with Linkpoint evidently thinks I am making too much money too quickly and has shut off my account. In fact they drained my bank account and have placed all my funds on hold for 6 months.

I need suggestions as quickly as possible to merchant services which do not place limits on how much you can earn and do not mind recurring charges with trial offers.

Anyone have suggestions?

Click bank and commission junction are two great merchants!

CJ offers more physical products and click bank offers more of the ebooks

They're not "merchant accounts", Shane. They're retailers who use their own merchant account facility to process transactions and then pay their clients out of their own retail takings.

Retailers, merchant accounts, payment gateways and online credit-card processors are entirely different things.

I'm just mentioning this, if nobody minds, before the thread descends into confusion about what's being asked and answered.

I suggest PowerPay because of the relationship that they have provided to their clients. You can have a personal contact at the company who works with you to avoid such situations:

    Merchant Account Information

However, in some cases a company runs a higher risk operation or needs to really high volume... in this case I refer clients to a broker who is bonded and who works as an intermediary to help them manage their relationship with merchant providers and obtain multiple MIDs so that they can process the volume they need.

I also recommend you have two merchant accounts at all times in case of situations as the one you describe.

    I second that one Josh!

    PowerPay is definitely a winner.

Provisional credit is your problem. The more charge volume you submit them more liability you create for your processor.
