The most common and appropriate one for a QUALITY product would be $47.

ditto to all of the above comments and also ....it depends on your "plan" - what's your backend strategy / funnel system...

Perhaps you give away a thousand dollar value product of yours for only $5....why - because your goal is to build your list with paid buyers (note - paid - not free in this instance)...and you will then move them up a step ladder of products and sideways as well into complementary products...

    eg

    $5 ==> $27 ==> $47 ==> $97

Whilst along the way it wasn't a straight 'step up the ladder'

    you also had other products in your portfolio at $19, $7, $21, 37, $147, $497, $1997...

    Hope that helps. Cheers, M

      Do you think $7 out-performs $5?

      I like $7.
Of course the correct answer is to test, but it isn't any harder to get $7 than it is to get $5 in most cases. You still have to have an offer that someone wants. Now this does not always carry through when the numbers get bigger, for example it is harder in most cases to get $4997 than $6997.

I agree. No need to split it any further than that.

The most common ones that I see are...

    $17
    $27
    $37
    $47
    $67
    $77

I never seem to see $57 or $87 for some reason.

I think $79 is a common price point before $97

I know the best way to answer this is to split test, but in your first impression, which price point would appeal to you most...

    $77 or $79 for a physical manual?

To me, $79 seems like $80...where $77 seems in the 70's, thus making it look lower cost.

    Thoughts?

Would you say the same about $37 and $39? I ask because those are figures for which I have actually seen split-testing results (though that still doesn't mean they'd be the same as yours, of course). The $39 price sold more copies to traffic from the same sources than the $37 price.
