One of the best email copywriters (alledgedly) is Matt Furey. I believe he is a student of Dan Kennedy and I've heard good things about him as an email marketer from a variety of other internet marketers and copywriters (think Michael Masterson etc).

He works in the martial arts and health niche.

I say alledgedly ... not because he's not successful but simply because how do you work out who is the 'best' when you don't have the insider details to what they do and what they earn.

Subscribe to his list and Goolge his name and you'll find articles on why several big names really rate him as an email copywriter and marketer.

    Good luck!

There's no such thing. All you need to do is make your email copy presell with helpful articles and videos.

Matt's stuff is great. I met him recently at the AWAI Web Intensive (we were both presenting) and he really knows email marketing. Very impressive.

As for list building, Jimmy D Brown has some good material. Very easy to understand and implement, and not expensive at all.

For email and autoresponder writing, Matt and I both have products on this, as does fellow Warrior Ray Edwards. I suggest you take a look at all 3 and see which fits you best.

Wow, some excellent responses. Thanks a lot guys. I have to disagree with the post about Jimmy D Brown though, I think his material sucks - there's absolutely no substance to it, it's all a load of waffle. He talks about how to make your own email campaign without putting much effort into it or knowing much about the topic you're promoting, and it seems that's exactly what he's done.

Interesting that the last time I mentioned Jimmy D Brown's stuff being crap, the whole thread was deleted lol.
