Website Design...

You folks who do programming or website design for a living might need to keep an eye on those rooms...people ask questions, questions turn into business...

I'm looking for someone to build several mini-sites and it would be nice to really know who you are dealing with unlike some resources that are a real mystery...

Yeah and now he's created the programming forum... and there are tumbleweeds blowing through that place...

AND we're already starting to see people post duplicate threads... one in the programming forum, and the exact same thing in the main forum... "just in case" people don't see it... kind of eliminates the need for a subforum.

Honestly, the thing that made the WF take off in the beginning... and sets it apart from places like sitepoint and digitalpoint... is the LACK of subforums.

Hi Robert,

time will tell. It'll take a little while for people to realise the new sections are there and what they should be used for. I've noticed people posting 'for hire' threads in the new "graphic questions" forum already - even though Allen has made a 'for hire' section.

Those that post in the wrong forum can be reminded.

I do agree that if there are TONS of different areas, the forum could get very diluted, I don't think it's at that stage though.

who kept a thread up to date on the old WF of warrior designers, their usernames & portfolios and make that thread sticky in the relevant forum?

I always thought that's what the WSO forum was for... you need a copywriter, programmer, article writer, whatever... you bite on his WSO and keep him around for later.

  I understand where Robert is coming from. I mean, we already have separate sections for Adwords/Adsense/PPC, copywriting, product reviews, etc., yet look at all the posts on these subjects in the main forum. Most people can't be bothered to learn their way around the forum; they just jump right in the main forum and start posting.
