It could be "B", and then it could be as simple as A and B swaping ads on their sites too.

I've seen it done in articles, software and ebooks as well.

An adswap is B. It comes from the old marketing idea of magazines advertising in their competitor's magazine.

For example, Cosmo might advertise in Glamour, Glamour would advertise in Cosmo. That way they would both try to gain the same readership. The idea translated into internet marketing for lists.

If you're trying to do A, that's some times known as integration marketing or just plain "joint venture". If you're interested in joint venturing, scroll down the forum to the section that says Warrior join ventures.

  I don't think there is a limit to the size of your list you could start with any number.
  
  You get your list verified and you find people with similar or large lists than yourself and you arrange to send out an email to your list on the other persons behalf and they reciprocate.
  
  Its quite simple, I've used it a few times and it works fine. I think it costs about $20 to join

Almost.

A and B have lists, and swap emails.

A writes an email and gives it to B, who emails list B.

B writes an email and gives it to A, who emails list A.

At no time does either of them get any actual access to the other's list. It's just a straight email trade.

I just started ad swapping (just google it) and it is marvelous! Some of the services also offer solo ads of people with large lists. Usually, you do a swap with someone who has a list about the same size of yours and then there are some generous individuals who will give you a free ad swap who have a gigantic list. Great place to network and make friends! Kristie from Georgia

Ad Swap is when you have a list in Niche A and that person also has a list in Niche A.

So both of you agreed to send out each other's offer (website link) to their list. It is an exchange of links. Subscribers from both lists will get to see the other offer.

Make sure to do ad swap with people who are reputable. Some might not deliver as much clicks as promised. And only do ad swap wih another person with the same niche.

Ya. I've done quite a bit of research and it seems to me that Safe Swaps is the best resource for Ad Swapping as well as Solo Ads.

Why? Because of the transparent nature of the vendors or partners. IE You get to see how they are rated by their previous customers or Ad Swap Partners.. hence the name Safe Swaps. I've written quite a bit about it in my 50 Names a Day Plan.

Safe-swaps is a great way to build your list. Swapping daily and/or purchasing solo ads is the fastest way to get your list going. And did i mention the Social networking in your niche too!

I have used option b before. At first it is a little difficult to get anybody who wants to ad swap.

You have to keep on trying to get that "one person" who is willing to ad swap with you.

But it is well worth it eventually. You will see your listing start to increase gradually.
