125 Views 4 Opt Ins about 10 articles done in 1 day, Guys all it takes is a little work. I recommend that if you submit the same article to a free directory, that you at least change the title around. You can't beat free traffic

If your articles are not doing all that great or getting results, the best thing is to find PLR articles that you can re-write. You can find packs for $1.99 just search in google. If not you can have the good people at mturk.com re-write each article for about $1.50 or so. You help other people and you get a unique article.

Proper keyword research is essential. Target the wrong ones and it is all for naught.

Absolutely CORRECT. Articles are greatly valued by search engines both through its relevance and also the way it's keyword-targeted. So if you would want to start promoting your website with article marketing, make sure you've gone through keyword research very well. Google Adwords Keyword Tool is the easiest way to evaluate viability plus the Market Samurai.

Only 4 opt-ins is low but at least it's a start. It's better than most people will ever have. However, if your percentage stays that low over the next few days you better change a few things up or offer a better lead magnet to get people to opt-in. Otherwise, great work on getting traffic.

I'm just getting started and having trouble ranking in google because I picked such a broad topic. I'm learning as I go, but the traffic I am getting, I'm starting to get through ezine. I post to my blog, wait until the article is indexed then submit it to ezine. Not getting tons of traffic but I can see where it is slowly building up.

For those of you that have questions about article marketing the search feature in this forum is a freaking gold mine. Used the advanced feature and do a subject heading search for "article marketing". You will find a dearth of information on the topic.

Article marketing still works and WILL continue to work for DECADES to come because people will continually look for information and the Internet will always be hungry for content. But it has changed over the years so it helps to stay on top of it.

Article marketing can be done in a variety of ways. Some people never write any of their own content and use things like auto blogging plugins, RSS feeds, and some killer software to do this for them. Others go the manual route and others use submission service and/or a combination of all or some of these things.

Market and keyword research are critical, using your keywords in your titles helps big time, and what you do with the article after you submit it is also very important. So yes, article marketing still works as long as you work it and view it as a long-term traffic strategy. Also do not neglect to put your content on your own network of blogs and/or websites.

yeah it very powerful....when readers read your articles, they are most likely to click on the links in your resource box that leads the reader to your website. And, the more articles you submit the more links you will have to your website and then more visitors.

How about you just recycle your articles?

    Make them into:

    Videos
    Blog posts
    Guest blogs
    Audios
    eBooks

Then you can submit them to a whole host of additional directories.

      Totally agree with Mrs S.

Re-purposing is one of the most important things to do with your articles that most people seem to neglect. Why waste all that hard work coming up with your articles when you can resuse it.

Also, if you're going to mass submit the same article, try spinning your resource boxes have a mix of keywords and point links to different internal pages within your website.

This tactic should be for getting Backlinks first and Traffic from this is just a bonus.

    Good work Brian.

I've started using articles recently and they do seem to be very effective.

For me, it was just a question of writing enough articles. It probably took me about 2 months to write my first ten. As time went on, I gradually started writing more frequently, then a few at a time.

The problem is many article will turn out to be complete duds. Keyword research aside, yes it is probably the most important thing, the next most important is volume. At least one in ten articles that you write will be gems for you.

    Just keep on writing.

There are a lot of free courses around that take you through article marketing start to finish, but the key is definitely choosing a keyword that is both:

    a) searched enough
    b) one you can rank for

in a niche where people are BUYING.

    Regards,
