My experience with autoblog

At first I thought this is another failed project. Then I start arranging that each autoblog would ping after each posts

Well, .72 per day is not good enough for 40 autoblogs. However, traffic is increasing. Eventually it'll work out. Anyone more experienced than I am for this.

I haven't add any social media here.

I haven't been impressed with autoblogging, either. I just took RecessionAnxiety.com off autoblogging, deleted all of the posts, and have started over with hand selected content. I got decent traffic numbers from autoblogging it... but it's too time consuming to have to delete duplicate posts. And let's face it: People in most niches prefer hand selected articles.

I personally only follow blogs with original content, and/or content that is referenced by an authority I respect.

I set up autoblog automatically. So I easily scale up to 100 or 200. All I need is steady cash flows.

I have tried many autoblogging products with mixed success. My problem is I like to control value and quality content. Therefore I have ditched autoblogging.

    Best of luck

I'm a bit like you Nigel I also like to control the content quality so I stopped autoblogging and deleted all the autoblogging posts on my sites - took me a while but I'm much happier with them now

Have an auto blog , I think google and other search engines are way ahead of us on this one. Content does not get indexed at all. If you really want to make it work it would not be called an auto blog anymore. Have the info come in change the title and then reword some of the content to try and make it unique. Besides that its a waste of time and no traffic will result from it. Autoblogging= scam it just does not work.

Just because it does not work for you, does not mean it does not work for everyone. For me, it works. I profit from autoblogging. Not much, but I still profit.

Autoblogs definitely work, but it takes time and effort to build up your income, AND you do need to be realistic in your expectations about how much you can earn from each blog. Unfortunately, recent products like Auto Blog System X by Rob Benwell have been extremely overhyped and make it sound like you all you need to do is spend $10 your first month for the hosting and domain, push a few buttons, and all of a sudden you're earning $1000 per week - nothing could be further from the truth!

      Spot on.

The issue is that people think autoblogging is an affiliate method for making money.

      It's not.

It's a data mining method for information from Google and other SE's.

If you watch your AWStats on your autoblogs, you will know what I mean.

Is one autoblog gonna make you a hundred dollars a day?

      Nope.

You need 100 of autoblogs making you a dollar a day each.

Then it's a matter watching AWStats in your cpanel.

That is what works for me and I RARELY write content.

Maybe for a custom home page on a site that shows some real promise, but that's about it.

Unless you're doing promotion for your blogs, $1 for each autoblog is pretty farfetched

Of course you do promotions for your autoblog.

There is no affiliate marketing strategy that DOES NOT need promotion, so I am not really sure where you are headed with your statement.

I have never made a dime without promoting.

Well, maybe a little here and there, but not consistent cash.

I've had mixed feelings about autoblogs too... They work, but only en masse. It's nice to have an army of them, but there are other options that allow you to build say 10 blogs, and make $10/day (per blog), instead of having 100 blogs making $1/day (they key is outsourcing to get fresh new articles, good keyword research, article submissions with unique content, and web 2.0 promotion - viral is king!)

Unless you are expecting overnight results and give up right away.

An autoblog done right, in the right niche, with the right keywords is capable of hitting the $1 out of the ballpark.

There are so many myths surrounding auto blogging (just like many other IM methods) that simply aren't true.

The face of auto blogging has started to slowly change and those that are and continue to be successful with it are learning to adapt with the times. Now you have to pay more attention to your auto blogs than you did in the past, screen content to weed out the "junk" and occasionally mix in some unique content. You also have to work harder on SEO than before.

Does this mean it's no longer "auto"...not really, the bulk of the tasks can still be completed with automation which still means you can manage several more blogs at one time than you could standard (uique content only) blogs because much of the work is still done for you.

Most people who don't succeed with auto blogging haven't realized this yet and are still trying to do it the old way. Does that mean you absolutley can't succeed with the old methods...no, but it's getting harder to.

It's been said by several people who are successful with auto blogging that just like any other IM method...

It takes time and it's not longer set it and forget it...at least not entirely.

$6.93 is not bad from something you could 100% automate with the right tools. Push a button and make $7 a month. Push it again etc.

I assume you have no costs here and are using free blogging tools? If you spent 40 * $8 on domains then ... ouch!

some of you say autoblog work, some don't. For those who did make money from autoblog, i wonder how you get traffic from. Is it organic traffic, search engine?

About the contents, i don't know how this work out.

Im not a fan of auto blogging either. Duplicate content is almost guaranteed! I blog when i have content 3 times a week. If you guys are trying to make money through adsense, then i would think again about this auto stuff. Google will probably boot you off id say.

Hi, this is my first post.

I am a little bit confused between autoblogging and rss feeds, wat is the difference?
in my case i use rss feed to post 10, 15 news articles as threads in my forum and in the frontpage, hier are some questions:

1- does posting through rss feeds (daily news) have a negatif effect on google indexing of my site?
2- could google adsense penalize me for using rss feeds?
2- wat is it better : posting rss feeds full article or a Summary

    Thank you for your respons.

There are three main sorts of auto blogging in terms of content:

    1. scraped content that is simply republished.
    2. Spun content.
    3. Unique content.

I would say only number one is a "scam" purely because its copyright infringement.

Couldn't agree more - then one could argue that #1 is only a scam when it is copyright infringement, which isn't always the case.

I used autoblogging on 2 sites that I was testing some other stuff out on.

Autoblogs just can not compare to your own, and there are always some garbage posts that slip through.

Now I just write a bunch of posts and set them to publish every few days. Unique content that I have complete control over the quality of, and also easy to set up.

Some of my websites I have content written (by writers I know produce good work) and outsource the posting (with time delay) to one of my freelancers

ive tried autoblogging and it only made spam contents and posts and did nothing but take up my bandwidth and space. So I deleted it and Im making manual and original articles which I think is getting decent traffic.
