Man, it isn't easy...

I've taken all the advice offered here as well as some help that I'll never, ever be able to repay. I've got a great site with a great product that brings in a steady income. I've been writing articles, press releases, and building backlinks like crazy. I've made the suggested changes and haven't for one second lost focus on the end goal. And, after 5 months, I've managed to reach page 6 on Google.

BUT, there are over 83000 pages (830000 results) results for my keyword. Five months ago, I started on the last page if even there. I am using several techniques that I learned in the war room and they have helped incredibly. And I do those things every day. Yep, it's boring, it's work, and there is no immediate payoff from doing that stuff. But, over time, it works. I seem to move up one page every other day now.

What I'm saying is, if you are new to this, listen to what the experienced people here are telling you. There aren't any shortcuts. Yes, there are tools available that can cut some time off, but you still have to do the work. Stick with it. Set a daily goal and achieve it everyday. It's a job.

Oh, and if you are thinking about buying the latest, greatest IM product, spend the money to join the war room instead. I've learned more there in 3 months than I ever did from all the books and programs I've bought in the last 10 years.

    Very True,

You won't find no shortcuts and I learned it the hard way.

I kept roaming around the internet for about 1 and a half year without making a dime but then I got serious and did boring as hell work and finally I'm making a good money online.

Just keep in mind, you got no shortcuts so work you way up and at the same time STICK TO THE PLAN. Don't keep jumping around coz if you do then trust me you won't get no where.

Very well said thobbs31. There are no push button solutions but there are a few people that are so good at it, they make it seem like it's that simple.

    Great work!

Good advice! I spend a lot of time learning on this forum. It is invaluable the information you can get here.

Taking action and not getting distracted by the next outrageous promise that comes along is also very important. I spend a lot of money doing that. haha

Gratz on your success and continued success!

Well, not yet, anyhow! But, as long as I shut-up, keep listening, keep learning, stop over thinking, and keep working, I'll get there!

The War Room is filled with awesome resources... all useless if you never put them to action!

This is a prime example of just what you can do if you take time to build. People get discouraged because it's boring, it's not sexy and riches don't happen overnight. Time will pass regardless though, so if you're not building NOW, you're missing out. You, on the other hand, kept building. It doesn't sound like you're quite at "millions on autopilot" (yet ) but you're on the right track. Great job - keep it up!

I'd disagree... there are tons of shortcuts and ways to get better results faster.

For example, it used to take me an hour to write a 500 word article, now I can write a better one in 5 minutes because I bought a product that showed me how to do it.

You don't need to buy into every new fad that comes out... just buy one system from a reputable person and follow it until it works.

There's no magic push button formula... and at the end of the day, you've got to sit down and get some work done, but there are plenty of shortcuts you can take.

I absolutely believe there are shortcuts and information available to help with the work. My point was, it is still work. Further, I believe that all the tools necessary are identified or are available in the war room. In my opinion (my opinion), it is senseless to buy ANYTHING without looking for something similar in the war room and checking out all available information on the warrior forum.

Of course, I'm selling my own product (actually, my wife's) which is physical and not affiliate based. So maybe that changes things. However, I don't think that changes the my original message. Anybody coming here or anywhere else looking for a magical way speed up the process (beyond available tools) might as well dig a hole in their backyard. In the end, they'll have put forth a whole lot of effort for a worthless pile of dirt. The only constants in success, in my opinion, are work and time. Yeah, we all might hit on something that delivers short term results that are incredible. But, in the end, if you want to build a lasting and profitable business, you should be prepared to put in the work and expect it to take a lot of time.

Thanks, sometimes it's good just to know that other people are keeping their heads down too, because otherwise you get caught up in all the hype about easy money and get distracted.

So true. There are really many good people who share their knowledge and experience to be able to help startups in their internet businesses and without utilizing them, there's really no output to target on.

Even if the Internet continues to give us information in an instant, it still doesn't mean that those websites which already have gathered rankings all happened in an instant - even the most advanced technologies nowadays have gone through split testing and different processes before becoming stable in place.

There's no easy work with everything that we do and all we need is to motivate ourselves that to be able to reach our goals, we have to make it happen now!

Amazing, isn't it? I strongly advise you to visit that forum every single day. You never know who is going to drop something in there that is far more valuable than all the stuff you've purchased together. People that have seen at least some success, without ridiculous sales page hype, willing to share it with you. I'm so glad I'm a member. And the fact that I am is one of those things that I may never, ever be able to repay.

Wow, It doesn't come any more real than that! Way to lay tell it like it is!
One can never learn enough, which takes me back to a Billionaire quote

"Most successful get rich quick or how to books on the internet hire Ghost Writers. Three quaters of them don't even know what's in their book, never mind read it. Who do you listen to?" Kevin Trudeau.

Read Andrew Carnegie's Biography, now that is a learning experience that will plant the correct seed that's leads to any success story. If we keep investing in what everyone else is doing, and buying what everyone else is buying then who are we really making wealthy? Read smart.... Reading combined with comprehending is the door to what ever your searching for.

I find myself often reading bios of Billionaires as whom better to learn from but someone that has honestly been there? The question is "Who do you listen to?" I listen (read) some of the first Billionaire and Millionaire Bio's released in history, now that's real reading and the perfect lead to any success. Makes sense to me. TH

I laughed when I saw this post because i was going to start something with a similar title.

I've really just gotten started. I found a product, put together a site, and I have been writing two articles a day 5 days a week for the past two weeks, so now I have 20 articles. The thing is though, I've realized that this isn't easy. The work gets VERY monotonous, but I realize the payoff at the end.

This has really taught me why comparatively very few people are successful in life.

Since I made the original post three days ago, I've moved up another page. Still just doing the same thing over and over again. In those three days, I built 40-50 backlinks. Tomorrow is press release day, so I'll get another jump Monday or Tuesday. Writing, spinning, linking every day. That's what's getting it done for me. And the best thing, IMO, is that this work isn't temporary. I'm doing it slowly/naturally so it's real. Again, takes time doing it this way, but I'm not worried at all about being "slapped". And, to be clear, I use available tools to cut down my actual writing time to about 5-10 minutes per article. If you have the tools, use them. I'm just not a big fan of auto-submission. Maybe I should be, but the time I've spent so far is paying off. I do ping everything, and that's automated. And I do use Backlink Booster on every backlink that I make. However, I haven't done ANY of the 2.0 stuff available in backlink booster yet.
