My first Ezine Article

Hey guys,

I wrote my first ezine article today and submitted it. Hopefully it will get published soon.

It was a '5 tips....' article but what I wanted to ask you guys was, do you publish the same article in your blogs?

What I like to do first is publish it on my blog and then post it to ezine articles. That way I have fresh content on my blog for readers and I can work on back linking my blog as well as my articles.

I usually post to Ezines FIRST... They are very strict on submitting articles and it could take a week until your article gets published. I would write a few articles on the same group of keywords.

I have about 60 articles published on Ezines and on blogs, as well as other article sites and I ALWAYS submit to Ezines first!!!

Occasionally i use my published article on EZA on my blog. EZA do not accept duplicate articles by using your article on your blog first will make your article duplicate and will be rejected my EZA, you might even have your account suspended.

If I am going to use the same article in both places I usually post it to my blog first and then EZA.

Congrats on submitting your first article. Now try to do one a day!

Sorry bro but that is not true. You can submit the same article to your blog and to ezine articles but you may have small problems if you are not using the same names on both places.

They will send you a message saying they found the article on another place bearing your link but with different names. You will have no problems if the names are the same.

I always submit to Ezine Articles first, and then publish to the blog for the site, as well.

Submit your articles to Ezine first otherwise they'll suspend your account! Once they accepts your articles then just in case you might want to change the headlines before publish them on to your blog.

Why would they suspend your account?

Buzzle requires unique content Ezine does not.

What they do have a problem with is if they find your article under a different name somewhere else.

So use the same pen name with every directory that you submit a given article to.

This is not true at all. Geez so much misinformation out there.

actually Ezinearticle has a plugin for Word Press that automatically submit your blog post into EA. You can look for it under Author Tools.
    check this
Submit Your Articles Directly from WordPress

So if they endorse this, I think that duplicating content from your blog into an article is not an issue.

And we wonder why newbies have such a hard time figuring out what's true and what's not. People should check their facts before making blanket statements off the top of their head. If you could put the words "I've heard..." at the beginning of the sentence, you'd better double check whether what you're about to say is true.

ALWAYS put your article on you blog first, EZA second. You want the search engines to identify yours as the "authority" site. EZA allow you to publish to your site and theirs. If they query your article, simply explain nicely that the other appearance of the article is on your own site. And they will nicely say "OK, fine". Not ban, block, blacklist or any other B. See the thread Jason has above if you want to go through it all again.

I try to reword or spin all articles submitted anywhere. I figure the lack of duplicate content will give me better ranking on the search engines. The original goes to Ezine and then I do a spinnable version for AMA and paste from AMA to the other directories.

I still say use Ezines first... I have posted an article one time on another directory. Ezines didn't accept the same article I posted to them. I had to explain to them that I was the original author of the other article they found. It took a lot for them to finally accept it... So, this is why I say to post on Ezine first because they do check.

I always re-write my articles before putting them on my blog. There is a lot of discrepancies about whether or not it's acceptable to Google to use duplicated content. To play it safe, just do a quick re-write before adding the article to your blog.
