3 times trying to get access with digital lock down pro

So the site digital lock down pro was recommended to me by someone on here, so I went there it said 7 days free access, sign up here. So i get to the order page.. To find out there are 2 options

Paypal
AlertBuy ( this button didnt even work )

I click paypal, it goes through and says I will be billed after 7 days, it then gets to the success page and the page is blank

I then get a email from paypal, showing im actively subscribed but I cant access the members area with my email and password that they even emailed to me. It just says I need to pay again ( when i have already done so and paypal has confirmed the subscription )

I email on April 21 at 3.26pm

I get a reply back April 22 at 10.26am so just under 24hrs and the reply was not we shall check out the success page or see.. it was

"Hello ,

If it's an echeck it would be upgraded when it clears to us.

also, let me know what it's for, we get dozens daily.

Best regards,
Mike"

I email back Mike same day, April 22, 3:15pm to say no its not paypall echeck if he goes check his account he will see its just regular and I provided my subscription number. I told him that the success page was blank after paypal and now every time i go to login it just keeps taking me back to the order page, wanting me to pay again.. Ok so that was April 22, afternoon..

By the following day April 23, 2:47pm ( now close to 48hrs later from my first email on April 21st 3:36pm and now the 7 day trial only had 5 days left and I still have no access.)

I still have heard nothing, and i still cannot get in..

So i cancelled my subscription and thought umm maybe it was just a glitch 1st time around

So i signed up again, went back through the whole paypal process and same again got blank success page, active subscription but cant login to members area it just keeps taking me to order page. So we are now 48hrs later.. and no fix. So i email to say that im giving up

I then get a response on same day April 23 at 5:20 pm saying

"Sorry, I'm not on the computer 24 hrs a day, you haven't had to wait longer than 24 hrs.

That's actually really good.

If you give up so easy you will never make a dime.

Sorry to see ya go,
Mike"

Well, first off that is incorrect it has been over 48hrs and 2 attempts on the website to access and at no point was any mention of we will look into this or try to fix this

So I have emailed back again ( maybe im an idiot for doing this ) but I gave them a 3rd chance to redeem themselves...

I have yet to hear back and once again on my 3rd attempt, I still cannot login to their website So I have given up, screw them

Now im a first time customer with this service and damn... this is pretty disappointing experience, Over 48hrs of waiting to get access, with a website that doesnt appear to work, with support who doesnt appear to be even attempting to fix this issue

What are you thoughts folks?? Has anyone else run into these issues with them??

I was on my 3rd time trying and ive given up on their service as it has not installed any confidence in me.

if you get all these isssues BEFORE you even try there service.. what issues are you going to get upon using there service???

On attempts 1 and 2 you discovered the system won't let you in - and the customer service is bad.

At what point do you realize this may not be a good investment - at least for you? If your paypal account is not verified with a credit card, the payment may show as an echeck to the seller. Just a guess.

      Hi kay

My paypal is verified with a credit card and it went through a regular paypal, plus no actual payment is needing to be made as its a subscription where for 7 days your meant to get access and then after that it would take funds.

The point i considered it would not be a good investment was after 2 times trying and 48hrs of no access. yet I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but the fact that when he did respond back, he didnt say.. Ok i will look into this for you, it was just to protect his own pride and say.. oh we got back to you within 24hrs ( which was incorrect it was 48hrs ) and to give some smart ass remark about the fact that I had given up after 2 times trying to use his service despite his service being broken.. he considers that to be.. stupid and so he said.. You wont make a dime giving up that easy..

Like... hes speaking to a mirror, as if I cant get in his site.. he isnt going to make money himself... If he spent less time responding with smart ass remarks and more time trying to fix his website which is not working, maybe he would have customers.

I mean could you imagine going over to Aweber and signing up, finding one of their options for payment didnt work, finding that after you subscribed, there success page was blank and your login details which were sent to you, just caused you to go back to the order page
Now add to that imagine contacting aweber and getting a response back that had nothing to do with, we will look into it, but that just made you wait a full 48hrs before again they reply with some smart ass remark..

I think not.. as aweber is a good service and everything works!, Digital Lock down pro sucks balls

      Screw that service!

It's the smart remark in the answer that would have sealed it for me - that comment to you was unnecessary and, in my opinion, stupid.

Guess the lockdown works better than expected - why wait till someone requests a refund? Lock them down from the getgo

Wow, that's discouraging. I was just reading their sales copy and seriously thought about getting this. After your experience, roley, I think I will look elsewhere.

Hi..I just came across this thread randomly and had a few comments.

Digital lockdown pro is brilliant...I would highly recommend it to others

My payment has been going through PayPal subscription for over 2 years and never once had a problem. They manually approve all orders so you just needed to be a bit patient until they activated your username or password

Their customer support is also great and friendly...their company name I think is incbizz

only downside is they dont have a Mac version of their software, and I get loads of Mac orders

    Thanks

        Sounds easy enough to implement.

But, honestly, there isn't anything that could work
once the guts are copied out of a pdf, or anything
dealing with media once it is copied.

The best option is always individually marking your
products when they are sold and then prosecuting
        the person responsible for distributing.

I think you are looking for something that 'truly'
        doesn't exist.

There are many scams on the internet.

How can they be so secure? -- they're clueless!
        Code:
        google [site:digitallockdownpro.com/thank_you.php?]
They let their "thank you" pages get indexed.

        I also reviewed the following:

Works for both mac & windows (& unix, linux, etc...)
anything that can access a webbrowser imo.

This protection too, is easily implemented, and broken (copied).

But, I can't believe anyone is paying for this stuff!

If you are truly concerned, then I recommend the following:
        1. Brand your face -- get it on video (with a watermark)!
reasoning: if your stuff is worth protecting then it must be good,
and if it is good then you should be creating a brand for yourself.
        2. Serve your content via Video & Wowza via rtmpe:
reasoning: a Wowza server does not expose the path to your files,
and it takes more work to copy a video than a pdf
        3. Be sure to purchase a dedicated server and lock-it-down!
reasoning: anyone in the data center could gain access to your files.
        4. Don't sell too many copies, then you've really got problems.
reasoning: the more files, the more protection you need.
        5. Don't ever become too successful in this life, or win the lotto.
reasoning: people just don't know how to deal with success/money.

        Seriously:
        1. don't focus on your loses... focus on your success.
        2. keep things updated and build a rapport with people.
        3. always provide more value than promised.
        4. keep providing value.
        5. don't look back.
