Making sure a PDF File is 100% Compatible.. how to?

Hello my good people

I have a particular product that I created in OpenOffice and I've sold to numerous people.

I've recently received a complaint saying that the PDF is "corrupt" and someone claimed it was "dirty".

I find this to be a bunch of malarkey, but.. I was just wondering -- coudl a few of you chaps help me out? Is there a certain way I can save the PDF in OpenOffice that will allow for maximum compatibility?

Thanks

A PDF is a PDF. If someone said the file was corrupt, it may have been a download error, which can happen with any type of file. Have them download again or email them the file.

If that doesn't fix it, have them download the latest version of Adobe Reader. They may have an older version that can't work with the file you are creating.

Those 2 have fixed every PDF support issue I've ever had, including ones where people reported seeing "just a bunch of dots" or "foreign language looking text" - turned out to be an old reader.
