Aweber experts...how do I do this?

I have a list in Aweber that needs to be sent an email with unique links to a word document. So I need to be able to do a broadcast, but have each of the 300 emails have a personalized link for each recipeints respective files.

I talked with Aweber today and they said you cannot personalize a link like you would a name for example.

There has got to be a way to do this though. any ideas?

I don't think you can but i can't say i have tried, you could probably do it quicker manually, then trying to find out a way to do it

Aweber lets you use custom fields. If you can get the data in a custom field, you should be able to embed it in a link in a message. Same concept as inserting their name in the message.

Why does everyone need a unique link?

I have used custom fields but when I put the personalization in the link it just says its an invalid link and I have tested sending it and nothing comes through. Unless I'm doing something wrong. I need to be able to direct each person to a document that is unique to them. It is a list of clients for my day job.

What is "it"? Where does it say the link is invalid?

Try sending a test mail to your own email id... and tell "it" to shut up and let you do your work even with an invalid link (And yes, if you look carefully you can do that) .... That way you will know whether it works or not for you... If it does work for you (won't really be thsat surprising to me), then you are on your way to success.

P.S. PM me for specific details. I can work with you on this.

Ok, I figured it out. I was not doing the custom fields right. I believe it will work now. Thanks!
