What software do I use?

Hi guys. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what software I need to use to write a document and convert it into a PDF.
I have got Microsoft Word, does this work, or is there a specific programme to use.
Thanks for your help.

You can also export OpenOffice documents into a PDF document from within the application itself (OpenOffice Writer.) Just go File > export as PDF. OpenOffice is free and is similar to Microsoft Office.

I use cutePDF with word (including older versions) which is a free download and does put a logo on. Need to download writer and then a conversion tool, all automated/prompts. One installed you then "print" and select cutePDF rather than you printer and you will then be asked the file name etc.

CutePDF - Create PDF for free, Free PDF Utilities, Edit PDF easily;.

    Cheers

I think theres a quick and dirty solution if you Google "pdf converted online" ... you will then be emailed the PDF document.

But I always use Adobe Professional so I can password protect my files and do lots of other cool things with it.

Any questions just let me know
