Use Google Docs To Survey Your Traffic & Customers To Make More $$

Hey Warriors,

I'm sure most of you would agree that it can be VERY lucrative to actually KNOW what your customers and traffic want to buy BEFORE you try selling them something.

Now, there's no better way to do this than by creating a survey. Sometimes it's nice to create a free product to give your customers/traffic just for completing the survey for you.

Obviously, in your survey you want to figure out exactly what the customers/traffic in your market are looking for. Ask them questions about what they are struggling with or what one thing could help them turn their situation around. Essentially, you need to get around their basic wants and needs to figure out what they desire. Selling something that fulfills a specific desire to a person who HAS that specific desire can drastically increase your conversion rates and bottom line sales.

Another added benefit is that surveying can SAVE you time and money. No longer will you be spending time and resources to create products and marketing materials that don't fulfill any of your customers'/traffic's desires.

That being said, some survey solutions are free and others do have fees. From what I've seen, most of the time, if you want to have a lot of customization and a "Thank You" page redirect you're going to have to pay for a survey solution. One that I would recommend is SurveyMonkey: Free online survey software & questionnaire tool. (Post below if you have any other recommendations).

One more thing I wanted to share with you that I came across the other day is that you can use Google Docs to create surveys. It's actually a pretty cool solution and it's free. Here's a good article explaining it: How to Create an Online Survey using Google Documents ... for FREE | eHow.com.

Thanks and I hope you found some of this info useful for your business.

Wow Tommy, great tip. There are lots of survey type sites but that seems like a nice way to do it for free
