There would not be a lot of competition if there
was not a LOT of money there too ...follow the
money if you want to make a lot of money.

That may be the case but for a newbie they would struggle to get rankings. If you got a well seasoned marketer then the forex nich is an option and I would completely agree with what your saying but for someone that id new... they are just setting them selves up for dissapointment

    Hello

Yes its a good niche a very hungry niche for information... However the point that you have asked the question makes me think that this niche maybe too difficult for a newbie (dont mean to offend)

Its going to be competitive and you are going to be dealing withe the big boys in marketing and SEO and you will ge eaten alive if you are not upto speed.

As I said I dont want to offend you just being honest

        others like digital goods

FInd something you have an interest in and disect it out

Surf the forum and look in to finding niches.... go for smaller niches less competition

What do you mean by "good niche"? Are you knowledgeable in trading? Trade forex? Or are you just going to hawk those B*S* robots to the masses and get some comm's?

Completely agree. For a forex trading niche, or any trading niche for that matter, you should have experience(and a past record of success) in order to build a list. Otherwise, you will probably just be pushing those robot things on people(that don't work for the most part), and as mentioned before, receive a lot of refund requests.

Of course, this is all assuming you do not have experience in forex. If you do have experience and have been successful, that is a whole new story altogether...

As a finance major with some finance experience, I find the idea of internet marketing forex a crazy idea. What a complicated topic. The best advice is to find a niche you are knowledgable in and enjoy being involved it. It will make it easier to succeed and easier to enjoy your success when you something you are passionate about.

I think this niche is beaten to death.. difficult to rank first page in google for this, you will need to compete with big players (bankers) else you may need to pay $$$ for Adwords..

Better to stay away from this..

there are so many other niches to get involved in that you can get first page listings for with very littkle effort and be in profit within a few days from the start.

You usually would not acquire specific niche-type info. from most on these boards as many people spend a lot of time, effort, and money researching good niches.

It is an incredibly popular niche, however, with popularity obviously comes competition and lots of it in this case! I would advise you to stay away from this niche and the weight loss niche, there are plenty of others on clickbank etc that have far less competition.

I have spent many years fine tuning my methods why would I just real off a list of niches?

why give you fish when you can have a fishing rod?

I've been involved in the Forex niche for a few years. One of the threads I started in december 2005 on the strategybuilderfx forum has been active for 3 years and has close to 250,000 views today. That's a great niche but so competitive...

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that 90% of the people who actually trade ForEx lose money.

    * I know that's not relevant to the profitability of selling the program, but for some people it might be an ethical question.

As for finding a good niche to start in, I would suggest searching the
WSO's for someone who has one posted w/ a lot of good reviews.

Buy it and try it out. Most of the products like that are under $20 w/ a
    30 day money back guarantee.

Or just look at what is being offered in the WSO's themselves or check
out any number of the article directory's. Most likely someone has
chosen "How to Find a Profitable Niche" as their Niche and will have
more than you will ever care to read about..... for sale! LOL

All joking aside, I agree w/ the other members. Think of something you
are interested in. Research it like you would a book report for school.
Which is basically what your doing... creating a report. (Assuming you
are creating your own product to promote.)

Polish it up. Save it as a .pdf and offer it as a WSO for $10-$12 and
see what happens. Again, there are WSO's on how to do this very thing.
    Good ones I must say.

If your more of a find something already made and promote kind of
person, there is a ton of Clickbank, PLR/Turn Key products available for
next to nothng out there. We say find something you like and are
interested in b/c it's hard to stay motivated when the traffic and sales
aren't there. My guess is you already figured that one out.

You may have heard the saying: "The more your sweat in training, the
less you bleed in battle"! (bleed cash in this case)

Spend some time reading and learning from others. However, don't just
read and learn w/o taking action like I did the last few years. I've
been studying one thing after another for WAY too long looking for the
"golden nugget" w/o moving into the take action phase. I finally woke up
one day and realized I wasn't going to find a gold, nugget or otherwise
w/ out actually "doing" any mining?

Personally, I went the WSO route. I am finishing up my first one this
week and plan to let it loose on the WF by Thursday. Win, loose or draw,
I will have seen it through and finally jumped the hurdle I've been
stuck behind for so long. Kind of an calming feeling to finally get it
done. Kind of like the book reports I used to wait to do untill the
    night before they were due!

Trust me, I could kick myself for not getting in the game sooner.

I know this was a lot more info than you asked for, but I hope it will
    help in some way.

  • As an affiliate it's a b!tch of a niche because not only it's ridiculously competitive, but also the refund rates are insane (many products are over 50% refund rates). And that's not only for the B.S. robots but by "proper" systems too.

I wouldn't go into that niche as an affiliate.

I would assume using a niche such as Forex you should have experience actually using Forex in order to come off as an expert.

However I realize you can be in the Weight Loss niche without
actually being overweight, so I could be wrong.

It seems to me it would be a great niche to get into some time in the future when you are more experienced because of the recurring commissions you can earn, but it must take ages to get to a level where you are getting regular leads/sales. That's what has put me off in the past, the fierce competition.

I have some sites in the Forex niche. But I also have trading experience. I would advise you do some trading or a lot of research before jumping in. Plus doing that research will let you know if its something you enjoy. Anytime I've went into a niche that bored me... I've found its starts feeling like a job pretty quickly
