When You Hear "Article Marketer" Who Do You Think Of?

I am trying to figure out who the biggest article marketers here at WF are.

I don't mean article marketing gurus or teachers, I mean actual article marketers like Greg Hall, Wags, Sean Mize, etc...

Who is still cranking out the articles???

Thanks,
Allen

Answering the subject line, rather than the body of the post...

        Dr. Kevin Nunley
        Nancy Roebke
        Steve "Doc" Yankee
        Paul Lemberg
        Terry Dean
        Dr. Ralph Wilson
        Jim and Audri Lanford
        Jim Daniels
        Marty Foley
        Terry Williams
        Gary Lockwood
        Bob LeDuc
        Robert Imbriale
        Dr. Robert Sullivan
        Sheldon Nix

Those were the folks who regularly contributed articles to my newsletter, way back when. They were article marketing 13+ years ago, and most of them are still kicking it online. Kevin and Nancy were the most consistent at it back then.

Terry Williams lost his subscriber and customer lists in an office fire, with no offsite backups. He got out of the business shortly after that. All the rest are still around. (I think. I haven't heard from or about Robert Sullivan in ages.)

Actually, if you go to Ezine Articles and take a look at the top 100 authors,
I don't even know if I'm in the top 100.

There are a ton of people who either write more than I do or they do an
      awful lot of outsourcing.

Another Warrior, Fabian Tan, comes to mind as somebody who zoomed
past me like a rocket. I'm going to guess he does a lot of outsourcing, but
just the same...article marketing doesn't mean you have to do all the
      writing yourself.

In fact, the really smart article marketers leave their egos at the door
(something I can't do) and have others write for them, especially if they
want to crank them out in bulk.

      Me?

I'm stuck in the stone age of having to write everything myself.

PS - Just for the heck of it, I went to EZA and I'm currently ranked 28th.
I guess they must have done a lot of house cleaning.

Steven, you left your ego at the door just now. Don't you realise that? Two people basically said "Steven is the man" and you said "no, no, not me, go talk to him."

And honestly, I wouldn't ask Fabian about article marketing. List relationships, yeah. Article marketing, never.

        I'd go to you.

Jeremy is an absolute machine when it comes to article marketing. You
should see the system that he has.

I can only imagine what he spends on outsourcing each month.

Yeah I hear you. Outsourcing is a big part of what we do too. We've got a pretty good machine of our own going. =)

@ Allen, no worries....I will await your reply.

Rod, there are essentially two kinds of article marketers.

                1. The guy who is hands on and writes everything himself, usually looking
to establish himself as an authority in a particular niche, even if he uses a
                pen name.

                2. The guy who outsources the whole operation in order to get as many
articles written as possible in one or maybe several niches.

There are pros and cons to each, but either method can turn out a
good income. I chose 1 because I felt it better suited my personality.

Agreed. We do some of #1 and a lot of #2. Since I'm a nut job and enjoy writing while drinking large amounts of coffee, I write mostly for two niches, the rest is handled by our crazy VAs. Most of our staff are locals and two of them are college students that do really great work for us (I have a pretty intense interview process where one part of the process is that we have them write a couple of essays right then and then from there I can decide if they're a fit or not).

I have no interest in writing about tinnitus, sweaty palms, or how to kicka$$ at little league......lol

P.S. A word of advice, do NOT date one of your VAs, no matter how cute they might be........

That is why you hire VAs that look like Riley.

I would think of James Copper as he is the best contributor to our article directory. I do not know if that is just a pen name but he got some great articles.

    Hey Allen,

To add another name to the list Bryan Appleton is a machine when it comes to cranking out articles in one of the niches I'm a part of. I look up to that guy too.
