Can somebody remind me, New article onto ezine or my site first ?

Hi Guys,
Can somebody please remind me how if i put a new article i`ve written onto my own site how i then submit it to ezine articles without it being refused because they find it already submitted ?

I have read before how i can and should add to my own site before i send to ezine but i cannot remember what i actual read about this matter can any body remind me pls.

    It's up to you really. I post on my site first to more or less establish ownership. I have never had a problem with submitting to ezine afterwards.

        Great question i`d like to see the replys to this also, i would guess that ezine will out rank your site unless your own site is PR4-5 but which one are you actually wanting to rank the highest ? Are you submitting to ezine for the backlink and the slight traffic you get from the actually site or are you wanting ezine to be higher in the serps ? which really doent make much sense i would of thought that you would want your own site to rank the highest and by simple backlinking you would beat the ezine article.

          I wanted to get another opinion but in my experience:

          In order to outrank EZA you need some real high and/or consistent backlinking. It also helps when the EZA article itself is linking to the article on site. I have both EZA and my own site article ranking on page one of Google for a competitive keyword. I just wanted to know others experience with it.

      lol...it seems like just about every EZA thread sends people to THAT thread....

      maybe we should just have it posted to the top of the forum or something?

        I've never found it helpful to be concerned about whether or not my article will be ranked higher on EzineArticles or on my site. I know my articles will end up in the search engines and I'm only concerned about the results and not the ranking. If your articles are driving traffic to your site and converting well then you can move on to write and submit more articles!

          I agree, you can write as many articles as you need. If one outranks your site it really will not matter.

    Hi, I agree that you must submit the articles to your site first then to EZA. I never had problems with submitting the articles to ezine after posting it to my site.

    If you put the article first in your site and attribute the author name as the same one you submit in Ezinearticles, that shouldn't be a problem.

    Site first, then Eza.

    But both are different, and not just spun.

    The one in your article to Eza (and/or other directories) should leave the reader hanging, wanting to know the answer to something you haven't given away in the article.

    The one on your site should give them the answer! No point in going to your site to read essentially the same thing twice, and no point in giving them the answer in your article so that they don't need to go to your site!
