T.E.A.M Method In IM Marketing Will Increase Traffic
One of the techniques I use to drive traffic to a website is to offer other marketers the opportunity to list their product on my various websites. The only catch is it must be related to the theme of the website. For example, if you were selling a digital scale or an ebook on medical marijuana, you can advertise on PotGuy.com on the "cool Sites" page.
That site would be more likely to produce sales for you than advertising on another site not related. If more people realized the power of networking this way, everyone would earn more money. The old saying "TEAM is Together Everyone Achieves More".
Start searching for websites in your niche and recommend they put up a "Cool Websites" link on their page and start experiencing the TEAM marketing concept.
You could do this with a simple splash page. Let the owner of the site know you will begin telling your subscribers all about their website. Everyone loves new targeted traffic.
I used the same concept in offline marketing of my services long before the internet. I was a massage therapist in my early years. While everyone else was contacting Chiropractors and giving them their business cards for referrals, I contacted Chiropractors and told them I was a new therapist in the area and I did not have a good Chiropractor to refer my clients to. I made an appointment to meet with them over lunch (they usually picked up the tab) and got to know them and in turn they got to know me. They were happy to work with me since I approached them from the "I need to send my clients to someone" attitude rather than I need some clients.
Trust me this works.
Within 30 days, I had to hire a staff of therapists to cover just the referral work. Imagine what that attitude will do to Online Marketing?
