Just Made Ten Cents on Mechanical Turk

I decided to check out MTurk, and just made my first ten cents.

Might be my last ten cents. What a bunch of lame attempts to get CPA offers completed (which I reported) and ridiculous requests:

- Write a 100 word unique article, using these keywords, about this topic, and I'll pay you two cents.

OK, maybe I'm being too harsh. My ten cents did take less than five seconds to make. Wasting an hour reviewing offers ... priceless.

Seriously, are people doing this stuff to make money?

Could be a great outsourcing tool, although I'm guessing many of the posters are as scammy as the requesters.

Just Rinse and Repeat a few time and you will get yourself to 10.00 and then 100.00 and then 1,000 and then before you know it, you will be at 10k/month.

Motivation to get the ball running..

Before you know it you will replace your law practice income and all your wildest dreams will come true. Remember this day. It all started with 10 cents.

Just do the math. .10x2=.20x2=.40x2=.80x2=1.60 etc. ...... =$1,000,000

I've tried Mturk before. It took me about an hour to make 2 dollars. I can't see how anyone who knows Internet Marketing would waste there time making money off that. It might be worth spending money on it. Like getting blog comments and links posted on the web. (Not sure anyone have any luck putting stuff on Mturk for others?)

There's another site like Mturk. I forgot the name but I think it is better. Anyone know any sites similar to Mturk?

I agree with VegasGreg. Mturk is more useful for outsourcing your needs rather than trying to use it to make money. I'm not sure why anyone would spend time completing those assignments if you're an internet marketer. Total complete waste of time. If I was to use Mturk, I would use it to pay someone ten cents to write me an article.

    There is ChaCha

People set up all day and answer questions at 10cents a question.

It is a web site and a cell text service. You text your question to chacha and within a few seconds to a couple of minutes your answer comes back. The person who answered it gets a dime.

I love seeing messages like this. Everybody stay away from MTurk, it's not worth your time to investigate at all.

Well, MTurk is not a place for us marketers to make money, it is place we use for our outsourcing needs. We pay the 10 cents not make it.

(I have not used it yet, but saw some great potential for cheap labor, if that is what you are seeking)
