If someone could help me out here then that would be great.

how can i use wordpress and also use a software programme also like NVU or dreamweaver
at the same time under the one domane name.
I want to use wordpress as my home page but also want to build and
design my own static pages from the top links on my site.

    If you want to use the links at the top for offsite links, or whatever, then you'll need to edit the header file to add the extra links. They'll be in the <li></li> tags. If you get to that point, pm me and I'll give you a hand with creating those links.

      More info may be required,

      However i am assuming you want the woprdpress as www.yoursite.com

      and also have other pages under the yoursite.com url

      If so just create a sub-directory for the other pages like so www.yoursite.com/sub-directory/page.html

      or www.yoursite.com/page.html if using php files just change the html to php

        You can specify a static page in Wordpress through the admin panel > settings > reading. Just create the static page you want and then specify it there. That way it will look like the rest of the site.
