I've been a lurker here for a long time, but I can't afford the paid membership. Congrats on making your goals! I am just getting started out in IM and could really use some help I have done some article writing, but I've found that the rates for the amount of work is almost laughable. Therefore I began to build and promote a website. I wanted to bring in some traffic before I actually began doing any affiliate products or adsense, but I've been struggling to get members or even visitors. I have tried article marketing, I've used auto submission tools, I have my website in forums, I've also done facebook and twitter, and I still only have four members... I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

With that being said, I've come to the warrior forum to look for advice. I've downloaded free ebooks and I have been building some other websites to try to market affiliate products, but I'm having the same issue with traffic to those as well. I feel lost in this new world of internet marketing. I'm smart and I have the drive, but things aren't working out as well as I'd hope. I check these threads daily, but I've heard that the war room is where all the fantastic advice is.

My goal is to make a sustainable income that allows me to continue staying home with my children. My first daughter was in daycare at 6 weeks of age, and now eight years later, I didn't want my second child to be the same way. We're making ends meet, but I'd like to build a income that will allow me to continue to be home and pay off some of our debts. I have time during the day, and especially at night to work on my internet endeavors.

I would like a membership to the war room so that I can gain insider secrets and benefit from the wealth of information that is there. I think my time is worth more than $3-$6 an hour writing articles for content mills. Especially since my articles are actually pretty good quality. I want to learn how to make great websites that attract customers. And I want to learn how to actually build this list everyone keeps talking about!!!

The war room will do nothing but give you too many things to think about and confuse you.

First hang out around the main discussion forum, and take in as much as you can.

Come up with a plan you're willing to follow to meet your IM goals.

The war room is not for noobies, it will only slow you down.

The war room is more or less for internet marketers who are already semi successful.

The information in the war room will not make you rich, it will only dramatically increase the skills you've already learned with tactics and strategies.

If you're a noobie to IM, the main discussion forum is right for you. If you're already moving along somewhat, then maybe it's for you.

I've been hanging around IM for maybe a year now. My first money came from writing articles on Ehow. (made nearly $20 a month) Which I was very excited about but I now realize I can make so much more money by doing Affiliate marketing and writing articles with Affiliate redirects and blog links. I have been slowly writing articles and getting them out there but haven't seen any money from this for the last month. I am looking for direction. I am not sure if the War Room would help me or not with the direction I need as I do find a lot of useful info right here in the main forum. Though I am very curious whats in the War Room. I'd be happy to take on some work. Like article submissions and anything else I might be able to do to get a pass into the War Room.

Congrats on achieving and even surpassing your goals. Successes give you the motivation to keep going and to work even harder. Take some time to step back and see what you did this month that could have caused this success.

Let me be honest with you... most of these kind of topics look like a lot of begging from newbie marketers or those that simply can't pony up the $37 fee. I don't like to see people begging.

But there's more... like lots of people said in this topic and across the forum, the War Room isn't for newbies. I've had a sneek-peak while visiting a friend of mine and the content is great. Though it's not worth it to give a $37 membership to someone who doesn't know how to apply all the information in there.

Guess my thread is starting up a bit of controverse here


First of all I want to thank the people who opened up here and told us what they would use the membership for if they would be the one to receive it.

I also want to thank the people who congratulated me on reaching my goals, honestly I wouldn't have made without all the info and knowledge I gained from here or from people I met here.

Now, a few answers to people directly

friend: I'm sure you believe you are right, but I believe you are wrong. Why? Because I signed up for the war room not long after I found the Warriorforum, and believe me, I was a total newbie at that time. I found great information there that I could use from my starting point. I agree that a lot of the information will expect a certain knowledge, but there are things there that I know a newbie will benefit from. And that's what I want to offer them. It's up to them to make sure they put the knowledge and information to work, but I'm certain they will benefit from it, if they pick a certain business model to work around and use only the information they need for that model. I know there is a risk for information overload the first time you go in there, but that is the same if you go to the main forum here. A lot of information and it's up to them to pick what they can use.

Dave Lianelli: I'm from the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium. And for your comment about the war room membership, I will give you the same answer as I gave the person before you. Information overload could happen, but that can also happen on the main forum. Lots of topics and different business models are talked about here too and the newbies will need to weed out the topics they can't use to look for the ones they can use. In my eyes, it's the same with the war room membership. I took a lot of knowledge from there when I started out (as a newbie). That was up to me to do, that wasn't something anyone else could do for me. But should that stop me from offering this to someone who can use it and put the knowledge they gain to good use? I don't think so.

Karl: thank you, you say it so much better then I could. I can't agree with you more, it's not the forum that isn't for newbies, it's some newbies (or even experienced people) that need to learn to look through the information and get the information they need for their business.

I think I would greatly benefit from this.

I've been tinkering in IM for about 9 months now, but college often keeps me busy for long stretches of time. Until last 15 days ago, all I had ever manage to make was just under $100 on adsense. However in the past two weeks I have pulled in three comissions for $90 through clickbank. I am starting to see some results, and with school ending in two weeks, am looking at a lot more time to really kick some but and get things done.

I've been intending to become a war room member for a few months, but wanted to get off the ground and make some at least a couple affiliate sales a month before doing so, so I wouldn't get bogged down in information. But being on the cusp of that, I think it's almost time

I have my plan, I have my goals. I have products. I have web sites built for me. I have a simple marketing plan to follow. I have the determination and the desire to take action. With previous sites I have made money but without creating a list.

This time around I want to change that. What I don't have is enough knowledge in certain areas. Wordpress and Plug-Ins, creating/using RSS feeds, Twitter etc, bookmarking social networks, testing, linking opt-in, blog, sales page, twitter etc all together. SEO and traffic generation are always areas to improve.

I am past the stage of trying to have something perfect before I start and constantly buying the latest Guru release, indeed I'm tired of them all promoting the same thing and constantly selling instead of providing information.

Forums are the places to learn, when you know who to listen to. Forums are the place to make connections for mutual gain. Forums are the place to help and be helped setting aside time so you avoid procrastination.

For me your offer for which I thank you and for which I am happy to be considered for, is of value to someone who not only will use the information but will then help others achieve their goals. My project is about helping others, if I can help enough people with quality knowledge that will look after me. I have to learn that knowledge from those have more than I and the War Room would be an excellent place to do that.

I am attempting to transforming my life and have given myself 3 months full time to try and develop a full time business. So if I am successful this could help to make a big difference to my future life.

My whole life has been about helping others so I know where you are coming from when you want to give something back. I enjoy coaching youngsters at my local cricket club and now captain a side where three quarters of the team are under 15. You can't put a price on the satisfaction you get from any success they have.

Truth be told, I am losing tons of money and potential exposure for my sites, and it's because of my lack of understanding about anything written on this site.

I know I have assets, and inventory worth something, I just cannot capitalize on it.

I am willing to share ANY income generated because of someones help. I am NOT greedy, and I respect the industry, and people's time and energy.

I don't know if you listen to Ron and Fez, or know about my Mafia Entertainment products, and I am THIS close to selling a reality show about Mob Candy Magazine. All I know is, I SUCK at marketting, and I have no problem sharing what I make.

Right now, I landed 2500.00 a month for 5 months straight, and was told by my investor to buy 'sign ups' to my mafia game for .50 a peice. I cant find anyone to do it, and I have 2500 on google adwords trying to do it myself but I am wasting money quick, and pissing off the investor.

I am a soldier in the United States Army and got into this IM business back in Aug 2009. I was taught by a soldier in the British Army who promised to teach me in 30 days etc etc. So I gave it a try and low and behold after the 30 days he vanished.
We were sent to the wolf's per say.

I stayed with it found this site bought many wso's basically dumped my money into many things that did not work.

I have been sticking with it though, even while deployed her in Afghanistan I still manage to log in from time to time and read up on some of the warrior’s great advice.

Overall I have been steadily improving things but I really do not grasp the whole Why concept, for that matter I don’t think anyone really grasp's the why Google does certain things.

Bottom line is this I am going to make the best site in my niche it just might take me a long time to get everything in place and work out all the bugs.

I have promised myself not to buy into to many more of those wso's and stick to 1 thing at a time. This way I can save money and hopefully make money from the site.

Well its 5 am here and I think I rambled enough.
