My ClickBank Stats For The Last 2 Weeks And No Sales?

I don't know if its at all possible but can fake clicks be generated to show that your clickbank affiliate links were clicked in my back office?

Below is a screen shot of my clickbank stats for the last 2 weeks (4/25/10 - 5/01/10). Almost 350 clicks to my affiliate links, but no sales? I mean, is this really the way it is? Do the click stats look fishy to anyone?

Obviously there are no earnings, but why doesn't it show any "Hops Per Order" impressions or clicks?

Those stats just look really weird - like false clicks were generated or someone is trying to screw with my head and just clicked on my links for the hell of it.

Under the "Hops Order Form Impression" column, it shows over 100 impressions, if you add them up, but at the bottom, where the total is tallied up, it only shows 20. Sup with that?

Or, am I just reading this whole damn thing wrong?

Well, whether or not I'm reading it correctly, I haven't generated any sales.

I'm sure it's possible to click-fraud on clickbank ... but there could be other reasons as well -- such as the copy or layout. If you like, send me a PM with the URL and I'll take a look.

So it looks like no one is buying your product you are promoting.

This could be the usual clickbank tracking problem, or it could be a bad product.

What is your previous experience with this product?

Thanks for all the info everyone and for helping me to better understand my stats.

@ccmusicman - I am trying out several different products to see what potential buyers are looking for and what actually catches their eye to atleast click on the link or banner or ad I'm promoting.

Now, what do you mean about the usual clickbank tracking problem.. Am I getting cheated out of some potential sales here?

I also want to add that I had 60 clicks alone yesterday on my clickbank links and no sales... I understand I'm not going to make sales all the time, but damn, when? lmao

Can or will the internet robots affect my stats?

It could be that the product sales page is not good. Its hard to tell but sometimes there are products that are dead.

There's nothing weird about those stats.

Come back when you have 1000 hops.

If you cloak your affiliate link then your hops can get artificially inflated by webcrawlers finding your site and following the link.

Out of that 300 hops there might have only been a percentage that were really human.

I don't see anything particularly weird about this, especially when the hop count is spread out between so many products.

A hop is not a click, rather look at "order form impression".

MOST clickbank products convert 80 hops/sale...the better ones 50/sales, other can take 150 hops/sale.

So..you are actually quite within statistical likelihood. You need more traffic, more hops. If after a few weeks something wont sell even after many hops then try some other product.

Edit: If this is ONE product and you have gotten 350 hops and no sale...ditch this product now, from that point of view you should at least have gotten a a couple or a few sales, IMO.

I just noticed that on my wordpress blog, if I check the "allow trackbacks and pings" box, then my clickbank hops go through the roof. If I don't they are around 2-5 per day, which makes sense since I only get around 20 visitors a day.

I just clicked it today and have like 50+ hops today, even though according to Google Analytics I only had like 15 visitors to the site. I use a short php script to hide the link, and I'm sure that is one of the reasons as well.
