Must I Rewrite My Original Posts for Article Directories????

Hi everyone,

I'd like to submit my original blog posts to article directories, do I really need to rewrite them or I can just submit the same blog posts to all these article directories??

Or must I rewrite them in order to submit without any problems?

Could some article marketing experts shed me some light on this issue?

This will be greatly appreciated.

    I always put my original content on my blog first.. learned that the hardway
    I will then post the article to ezine articles as I have it in my blog , then rewrite title and content and blast that rewrite to the other article directories...

    hope that helps if not do a quick search on here , as there are far more learned folks then me this place is a gold mine just go digging

    Yes, always make your original post on the blog. You can submit multiple articles to different directories but it is better if you spin them. I hire a copywriter to keep the articles coming to me

      Hey Paul, just to clarify. Your saying write 1 article, publish it to your site and after it's indexed take the same article without any rewrite and submit it to ezinearticles and other directories. Is that correct?

    I have found no difference on my 3 blogs if I rewrite the articles or not. Why waste the time, just get it indexed on your blog first then submit to ezine then submit to any others after its approved on ezine. At least that works for me.

    It depends on what you are trying to achieve.

    If you are creating quick blogs that earn you a couple hundred a month then you can just simply use the same article and submit it to a number of different directories.

    If however you are trying to create an authority site in which you want to be seen as an expert and you want to produce top notch content, then I would advise you to rewrite the articles completely before you submit them to the directories.

    Also are you just using the articles as back links or are you trying to drive traffic back from them?

    If they are just for back links and you don't care if anyone reads them, then obviously the quality sent to the directories can be lower.

      I don't know why folks are all giddy about article spinning. I delete all spun articles that come into my directory. And another word for duplicate content is syndication. Do you want your articles syndicated? Think about it...

    If you are doing it for backlinks, then rewriting some of the article can increase the number of (indexed) backlinks you get.

    I've done a few experiments, most recently I submitted an unchanged article to around 50 directories and at the same time submitted a spun article to the same number of directories. I tracked a unique phrase in each article over a period of two months and at the end of the two months the spun article was showing on over twice the number of pages than the unchanged one when I searched for this unique phrase in Google. (17 for unchanged article, 37 for spun article)

    So based on this test, if your aim is maximum backlinks, then spinning does help.

    I would still prefer creating original articles after couple of facts research around my market because that's the easiest way to get approved by these article directories as well. Sometimes, by simply spinning them, they can still detect that your article is plainly rewritten word per word and that doesn't make much sense when you're targeting interest and value to your articles.

      If they find the article is prepared by "copy-paste" they will not allow submitting it. So you should keep the original post in your blog and submit the spun or rewritten article in directories.

      You can use spinning software to spin articles, but the quality will be hampered greatly. So it will be better if you hire a professional article writer to rewrite your articles.

        As long as it's your article it is not plagiarism. Once again...syndication is not plagiarism. Yes, you can use article spinners to your heart's content and your articles will typically read like a non-English speaker wrote them which will often tick off anyone who has to read the stuff. And if they do manage to get to the bottom of your article without being totally annoyed do you think they're going to click on your link in your resource box to read more of your riveting writing? Meh! Not so much

    Hi Wyatt

    I tend to wite an article, then paraphrase it a couple of times. Submitting over and over agin will hurt you cos Google hates duplicate content. If you can;t be bothered to paraphrase you could farm it out on Elance or such. I reckon you're actually better off submitting just once than submitting multiple times.

      So if I'm reading correctly, I can take an article that is on my blog and submit it almost exactly the way it is to Ezine?

      Just want to make sure because I usually rewrite the content.
