Little Newbie Question

Can someone point me in the right direction when it comes to directing people who opt in to my email list to a download bonus or anything like that. How does that work? How do I make a link downloadable? I want to start offering PLR products as bonuses but have no clue how to do it. Thank you in advance for any help..

If you sign up for an autoresponder like Aweber, you can choose what link your subscribers are directed to once they opt-in.

You just upload your book to your website. Then, you go to Aweber and, once they sign up to your list, auto-direct them to your site...

    www.my*site.com/mybook.pdf

    Good luck.

Do I make a special page for the download? I have Get Response and I understand how to link them.. I think my issue is more with the FTP side of it. Thank you

    Hi Lionel,

Just create a link to the product as usual. That's it. Nothing complex.

You can place a direct link to the downloadable bonus in your email opt-in confirmation page (the email a subscriber receives once they opt in to your list) or place a link to a landing page where a user can then be shown another link to download your bonus.

There no real right or wrong way to do it. It's just a link.

Another strategy you might use is to redirect a subscriber to a "download" page after he or she opts in instead of sending them a download link in an email like I've mentioned before. Both Aweber and Getresponse do this.

    Hope this helps.
