A question on email marketing.

Is it possible to promote as an affiliate with hyperlinks, without having a website? I have a list of people and their email addresses. Can I mail them directly with the hyperlink(leading directly to the product) included in the mail?

    Have they opted in into your mailing list?

        Sure, you will get paid if you insert your affiliate link into email.

        You might make some cash with the few but what's the use of it if your noted as a spammer by the majority.... It would be better if you come clean so that you can use the list again in the future..... just an opinion though.... goodluck.....

    Hi,

    You dont need a website to have a succesful affiliate business. Many people promote affiliate links in ebooks and using email marketing without having a site.

    However, if your customers have not opted in to receive email marketing messages and they complain to the company that you send them to you may get banned. If you dont have a website they will just complain to the end result of the link. That affiliate company may then refuse to pay out. They are very strict these days with spam complaints.

    Hi trulyblue - all of them are right and I certainly agree. Consider it as a warning if some customers would mark you as spam. They can absolutely tell the company and indicate your email address - you will surely get banned.
    Why not make your own blog - there are blog sites for free that you can start introduce the product. www.blogspot.com or wordpress.com. You can set up for free. At least you would have something to refer to your customers.
