eBay as Commercial Intent indicator
I've been slowly working to increase site traffic, all the while getting more educated about marketing on the internet. One tool I haven't seen mentioned in the forums is the eBay labs tools, which include eBay's keyword evaluation tool and the eBaySaurus tool.
The first tool provides some indication of commercial intent for particular keywords on eBay - for example, put "power supply" (no quotes) in the search box and hit enter, then click on the word "power" in the left column of the table eBay returns to get a breakdown of related keywords. Read through the "Instructions" tab at the top for a better indication of what's going on when using the tool.
The second tool looks and acts like a rubberized, multicolor version of Google's wonder wheel.
