Newbie Question About ClickBank Analytics

Hello all,

Hope all is well. I've really been enjoying this forum. Some great stuff here.

I do have a question about ClickBank that I hope somebody can answer for me. I posted a quick article this morning and just checked my analytics for ClickBank and was wondering about the stats it is showing:

Hop Count: 14
Hops Per Order Form Impression: 14
Order Form Impression Count: 1

Nothing major number-wise, but I'm curious as to how they correlate to each other? I'm guessing an order form impression is somebody actually clicking through to the order form but I'm not sure how 'hops per order' ties in with 'hops count.'

Any insight would be greatly appreciate!

If you had had 2 order form impressions your Hops Per Order Form Impression would be 7. The math is simple:

    # of hops / # of order form impressions

An order form impression happens when a visitor clicks on the buy button and goes to the payment page.

Hop count is the number of people who clicked your aff link and landed on the vendors page. Hops per order form impression is the number of visitors it takes for one of them to click the order button. Of course, that number is calculated as William just posted above. Nothing complicated.

And you already know what is an Order form impression...
