How Are We Marketers Supposed To Maximize Our
Open Rates When Aweber Doesn't Support Testing?!

How on Earth can I split test follow-up messages in Aweber? I
need to maximize my open-rates by split testing subject lines
on my follow-ups.

P.S. Yes, I know I can split test broadcast messages. But I'm
talking about split testing follow-ups, not broadcasts (set &
forget testing).

I'm not sure any autoresponder has that feature.

I would figure the way around that is to use two separate lists, with the different followups loaded, and rotate the signup forms on the squeeze page.

lists for the same exact thing - I'd prefer to just keep them all on
the same list and somehow rotate A/B subject line for each followup
as it goes out to the list.

Isn't there some other way that's simpler??? :confused:

I hate to be the bearer of more bad news (I was ready to go ballistic when
I saw the thread title) but there is no other way to do what you want to
do.

It's 2 lists or nada.

You can't create functionality for an AR service that doesn't exist.

One way for marketers to stop getting incurable headaches is to stop
beating their heads against brick walls that will NEVER budge.

Create the two lists or move on and forget about it.

That, or make sure you have a lot of Tylenol on hand.

Yes, this annoys me in interspire email marketer, there are really good split test options for broadcasts but there are no split test options for autoresponders. And it is the autoresponders that do most of the heavy lifting in the sales process in my system.
