Don't forget to look around locally.

Internet marketing seems to be something that everyone tries at least once. 99% of those people don't even try more then a week of it, but the other 1% might actually give it a whirl.

As an internet marketer, you have to always be on your toes when it comes to finding new contacts and other marketers that can help improve your business by just being friends with them. A lot of the time, you are going to be sending emails, commenting on their blogs, or posting on their forums (hi Allen ) to better your relationship and maybe with the grace of god, they will mention your name or website to their following.

This is a large part of making it to the next step with your business, no matter where you are now.

One thing I see a lot of internet marketers miss out on is finding local marketers in their niches. You don't have to just look for business relationships online because your business is online. There are a lot of people that are doing some form of internet marketing that might be just a couple doors down from you.

You can find these guys and girls pretty easily too. Go to your cities local business owner meetups, put an ad on craigslist, etc. I met a great friend and now a large business partner in 2 of my niches by going to my local coffee shop. I was walking by and happened to see that he was posting an article to EZA. I immediately started talking to him.

I now regularly go to coffee shops. Everyone of us likes to get out of the house at times and do our work elsewhere. I know I do at least. Coffee shops and libraries are great places for this. Don't be intrusive of course, but pay attention. It only takes a quick glance at someones computer screen.

The great thing about finding others to work with or do a joint venture with locally is it's so much easier to build a business relationship with them quicker. You are talking to them face to face from day one. There is no email to introduce yourself. You're immediately shaking their hand and the relationship from there is just providing something beneficial for both of you.

You don't have to be a hot shot marketer with thousands of followers to build relationships either. Just provide value.

You can fast track any business, online or offline, by networking. Don't limit your networking to the internet. One business partner or joint venture could change your life.

The local and offline market is huge and largely untapped. And it is so much easier than online!
