Ok folks, here's something I recently discovered. A sure-fire way to make money online, promoting FAST FOOD DELIVERY. I'm giving this little secret away because I'm too busy with my t-shirt printing business to spend time developing this. If I carried on developing it I could be making £500 a week I'm sure, but I make 4 times that printing t-shirts so that's where most of my time is spent.

In the UK we have websites like Hungryhouse and Just-Eat, online directories of local takeaway menus. It's SO EASY to make money promoting these websites. Here's what I did...

1. Choose a town or city with a large population of students (i.e a University town).

2. Use one of the above mentioned websites to find the names of local pizza delivery outlets in the town.

3. Register a domain using the name of the pizza outlet and the location (make sure the takeaway does not already have its own website or this might not work). For example, if it's "Luciano's Pizza" in Bristol, register www.lucianospizzabristol.com

4. Set up a hosting account for the domain.

5. Create a basic website, with affiliate links to Just-Eat, Hungryhouse, or whatever site you want. Make sure the links go directly to the relevant page on the site, so the customers can order food from the takeaway directly.

6. Sit back and enjoy the profits! Rinse & repeat!!

Your site should start ranking very well in the search engines very quickly. Friday and Saturday nights you could do really well, especially if you've got 10 or 20 of these sites. The only outlay is the domain and web hosting (no problem if you have a hosting reseller account like me!).   • This sounds like you are advocating cybersquatting as a way to make money here.

    I'm not so sure taking the name of an established business and adding the name of the town where they do business is a good idea unless the owner agrees in advance.

    And why would they let you take their name in the first place?

    And how are you going to be that business' affiliate without a prior agreement?

    There are few pieces of the puzzle missing here...

    • I'm not sure if it's cybersquatting really. Well ok maybe it's a grey area - but I have 4 domains like this and not had any problems so far (6 months). Most owners of takeaway businesses have no clue about the power of the internet, hence so many of them don't even have their own website. And you're not an affiliate of the business directly, but the directory sites where you order food online (i.e just-eat and hungryhouse).

      Works for me anyway!

    Yes, I'm confused, too. I was with you to the point of creating affiliate links to Just-Eat, Hungryhouse, etc. I don't see that those two companies have affiliate programs. If so, can you tell me where to find more info and/or sign up for them. I like your concept and appreciate your sharing, but i just don't see how this would work if the companies don't have affiliate programs.

  • This could be done quite easily without cybersquatting at all. My question is, what fast food affiliate programs are available in the US? Hmm, must research.
  • The technical definition of cybersquatting is using someone else's trademark term in your domain name. Many local business names are not trademarked. It's more of an ethical question than a legal one.

    • This is the correct response. It is an ethical consideration, although it could be raised to a legal one if the wrong target is chosen. It is not a question of "can this be done", but rather a question of "should it be done".

    If you live int he US, do it for the UK, if you are int he UK do it for the US.

    If you use the company name and city may be short lived.

  • How about building a real business model with long term sustainability and actually HELPING people rather than trying to make a "quick buck"
