Picnik - edit photos the easy way, online in your browser is quite cool. There's also a paid upgraded version, which I will probably subscribe to.

I used picnik.com to puzzle myself, not that I really needed any help in that area:

    there is also Online image / photo editor pixlr free which is like photoshop on the fly...

    i hope adobe doesn't sue them.. heh

      ..unfortunately it doesn't do transparent png images but SplashUp.com does (is also free, doesn't need signup and looks very similar to pixlr.com)
