Hi Fellow Warriors,

I am looking for some feedback, I am in pre-pre-launch for my amazing Product Launch Formula Script. (http://www.productlaunchformulascrip...k_preview.html)

So I put together a quick walkthrough of the site admin, which gives some clues as to how the script works, and a few ideas to what you can do with the script.

I am preparing to make some more walkthroughs, as well as some example sites, to highlight the cool features.

Would be great if I could get some feedback from the guys and gals here.

    I think you might want to start out the video with telling me why I am about to watch the video. Maybe I don't know too much about a membership site, or what it is, so it might be nice to know something about what I will learn generally, both in the text and at the beginning of the video.

        Hi Chris, found your thread ;-)

        The features look great, some really nice touches like code snippets, (similar to CMS Made Simple Global Content Blocks?), built-in sale saver, split testing etc.

        What I'd like to see is an end-to-end demo of setting up a simple sales letter with a single product to see how easy it is to use and set up products. For example, some of your competition products have all the features but, in my opinion, are not user friendly and the sales process is not very customer friendly. Would be great if you could set up a demo site to try it out the user experience ourselves.

        One of the big questions I have is does it have the option to set up multiple front-end minisites that feed into a single back-end, (like JVM as opposed to Butterfly Marketing)? Don't care how this is achieved as long as it's possible, even if it's a matter of pasting PLFS code into my own sales page or manually creating copies of the PLFS generated sales page.

        I know you're not asking for feedback or feature requests (I know it's far too late for that), but I'm going to give you some anyway!

        A key point would be the flexibility to pick and choose which features you can use (which I think it does) and also the order that they appear in, e.g., squeeze page before or after purchase). Nothing worse than being forced to follow a linear sales process. Also things like being able to select which pages the sales saver appears on, e.g., when you click on internal pages or only when you leave the site. I notice on your sales page that when you click on Sneak Preview it pops up, even though the user isn't leaving the site.

        Also, how are affiliate commissions paid, i.e., is it a percentage of each sale or on a 'me-you-me' setup as with RAP?

        With any script of this nature you are not going to be able to please everybody so it would be great if it were possible to add your own features. Depending on license terms, and assuming it's been developed in php/MySql, it would be possible to hack the script to add additional code. The problem with this approach is that any upgrades would probably overwrite the changes. What I would love to see is a system, similar to the like of Wordpress, CMS Made Simple, SMF Forums, etc, where you can add plug-in modules, possible developed around runtime code inclusion (rci) and ultimately have a community where these add-ons can be bought and sold, (like RAP).

        And finally, as a Pom (albeit living in New Zealand), I hate to say it but maybe you should Americanize your interface, e.g., check instead of cheque? I assume the US will be your biggest market and you know how easy it is to confuse Americans! ;-)

          I am sorry but I have to disagree with you, both JVM1 and JVM2 (Fantasos) are an amazing program, each has its pluses and each has its learning curve.

          I think you are slandering something just because you do not understand it.

          Here is the thing, they are both awesome, simple and easy to use if one takes the time to learn how, and customers love it (and the owners love it too) because the ease with which each transaction can be performed.

          I am a professional Internet Marketer, and I can tell you that I own 3 hosted accounts of Fantasos, and a JVM1 license, and there is nothing I would like more than to have my own Fantasos.

          It allows you to make money just by having it installed, you can sell "merchant accounts" that deliver more punch than any other program out there.

          But that is not all, you can have ease of use by adding products your self, or have JV partners upload products for you to promote, or control all your membership sites...

          There are so many things that can be done with them that to come out and say something so negative about it is plainly not right.

          You might have had a bad experience or you might have not dedicated the time to learn how to use it, but trust me, there is very little chance for something as good as that to come out anytime soon.

          Specially taking into consideration how John Delavera keeps adding to it and improving it.

          It is my own personal opinion that JVM (either 1 or 2) are a great way for marketers to build an internet business with and they have my vote.

          This by the way has nothing to do with the script being mentioned here, I just do not like people saying bad things on an open forum where people can read a comment that is simply not correct IMHO

    very simple to use,

    ...like fill in the blanks simple!

    I own the full licensed version not a hosted account, I run my business
    with it and process tens of thousands of dollars in transactions with it
    each year without as much as a hiccup!

    Not one of my customers has EVER complained about their user experience
    with JV Manager (Fantasos).

    Nathan is right there is a learning curve, but there's also video tutorials,
    and a whole Fantasos community of very knowledgeable people who are
    willing to help a person...

    ...plus the creator of JV Manager (John Delavera) is VERY 'hands-on' with
    his product and is constantly improving, upgrading, and adding new
    features.

    IMHO Fantasos has no REAL competition because there's simply no other
    e-commerce platform that does all the cool things that Fantasos can do.

    I'm a VERY satisfied customer of JV Manager Fantasos!

      I also have to disagree with you as I am a Fantasos owner and user since the very beginning.

      As to how hard it is to learn Fantasos, John asked me to write documentation for the Fantasos release. I knew NOTHING and was able to write hundreds of pages of Contextual Help Files within 10 days, learning as I went along. I now write the manuals which are written in such an easy step-by-step way that anyone can easily learn how to use Fantasos. All they need to do is read the manuals which contain tons of screen shots or if they prefer video, watch the videos that are available.

      Then there is the forum where you can get answers if you have any questions. Not to mention the availability of John who gives way more than any other guru.

      And of course, Fantasos is a complete business platform, not just a membership script. Fantasos runs my entire 6 figure internet business without a hitch. And NEVER has even 1 customer complained that it is a nightmare for them.

      There is NOTHNG in the world that could ever entice me to change from Fantasos. Fantasos is simply the very best available so why go backwards in my businesss?

      As Nathan stated, there is nothing against the script mentioned here but I also hate people making derogatory remarks that have no substance.

        To all those that didn't like my opinion on JVM, first of all I referred to JV Manager, not Fantasos which is a different product in a much different price rage.

        Secondly, I removed my reference to JVM over 24 hours ago and pm'd the posters to tell them (one of whom then deleted his post) so now the only reference to JVM is in your quotes!

        Feel free to disagree with me, I just voiced my opinion (and I'm not alone in not liking JVM) but be aware that it is YOU that are perpetuating this issue, not me!

          I do not mean to "fight" with you over your pre-edited statement about JVManager. Just wanted to clarify a few things about your last post:

          Assuming that you consider these two products different, why should they be in the same price range?

          Allow me to inform you (in case you don't know) that Fantasos is the second generation of JVManager.

          As a JVManager user (I have user/affiliate accounts in many sites that are managed by JVManager) I find this script (which is the little brother of Fantasos) user friendly, very useful and great and I know many successful owners (some of them personally) that have upgraded to Fantasos.

          Currently, I am a Fantasos user and owner and very soon, I will have my FULL site up and running based on Fantasos and as a component of this site (not the main one), there will be a membership site which again, will be managed by Fantasos.

          Just so you know, behind Fantasos stands a philosophy, used and backed by experience and support of the creator and his subscribers; this philosophy takes for granted the fact that online business is a long term entity and not a sand castle, it is not a philosophy serving to "hit and run" (read quick money) mentality ...

          Regarding the price tag, I guess, you know the saying: "...you get what you paid for...". In Fantasos case, you get a great online business platform (which in my opinion, has no competitors) + a very knowledgeable and experience HelpDesk (read customer service) that goes the extra mile to get your goals accomplished + great tutorials (PDF's, video and flowcharts) + a wonderful forum with a great community, ready and willing to help every step of the way. Again, referring to your pre-edited post, according to my experience with that site, customer service is one of the fastest and one of the best I would say, and believe me, I have seen a lot of online help desks: some of my tickets, are still opened at some big names help desks even though I opened them months ago... (there is no need to mention any names or products).

          The beauty of internet in general and specifically Internet Marketing is: everybody can express her/his own opinion, service or product. But the winner is the one that does and supports it in the proper and the best way.

          A friendly advice for the future: you can voice your opinion without making any derogatory remarks.

          I am not surprised and I can guarantee you that you are not alone in this dislike. What I do not see appropriate is why you should think you voice the majority opinion?

          On the other hand, if the above statement is not true and if you understand you express the minority why are you absolute to your opinion?

          Yes, it is true that I and other fellow warriors "are perpetuating this issue", but, always voicing my opinion, I am doing this based on my experience and for the sake of truth which cannot be hidden...

    Thanks for the positive thoughts, by the way I never saw Fantasos before, looks very nice, but my script and Fantasos are quite different products. The user who buys my script will probably not be the same user who buys Fantasos. But he might become one.

    My script was aimed at the people who want to start out in IM, who perhaps have a product but for some reason or another never get the site setup, and/or find that getting some cool features in their site, like an autoresponder, virtual sales agent, blog, etc. is too much work, too expensive, too technically challenging, etc.

    As for the TM, I am talking with Jeff, there is no current TM, but my site is simply a demo site, the current script is more advanced than the one there. So any name change is not a major issue. Watch this space for more news.

    There seems to be a problem with the installation. I get a failure notice, saying:

    Component 'IEframe.dll' or one of its dependents not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

    What to do?

    Which build was that with? There is a new build now available on the server. Its beta build 5.0 ... I expect only one more update from this build to iron out a couple of minor bugs.
