hi

iv been searching for how to get a free pdf converter from the forum but the only one i heard mention was openoffice.org,when i checked it our the MB was way too big for my slow connection

pls can anybody help me out here with a free but small MB space

You can easily use OpenOffice.org.

  When it comes to create/edit/convert files I don't like online tools much. Because you can use them only when you are connected to the internet and when working with files more than 10 mb, it might take too long depending on your connection. And sometimes online tools do not work properly.

The Warrior PDF is not too big a file. You need another program installed
on your computer for it to run though. When I tried installing
WarriorPDF I ran into problems and solved my problem in another
way.

OpenOffice is really good software. I would suggest you get a CD
if downloading fails. On slower connections sometimes software
gets corrupted so downloading big software can be real frustrating.

I googled it and found a free CD offer for OpenOffice:
Free OpenOffice Office Suite CD. Get Open Office on CD today.

There's probably a catch in there, but you might look into it.

You can also get Linux operating systems on CDs mailed to
you, probably free. The people behind Ubuntu, for example,
which can run OpenOffice, are not in it for the money at all -
it's more about making computing available to everyone
in the world, regardless of ability to pay or download.
