Why the hell is there such a love affair with Wordpress?
I had a site up with a few articles in it. One is a static page, the rest are posts. I was planning on monetizing it and putting some AdSense and banners in the articles. So I get my code from Google, and put it in, the preview shows nothing but a blank area. So, I wonder if this is just a quirk of the preview process and I check the site by pulling it up online. I don't get my home page, I get my privacy policy. I click the link to the article I have on the home page, I get the privacy policy again. No matter what I do, I get the privacy policy instead of the article I want to show when the site is first pulled up. I checked my settings and none of them have changed, they are all set right for that one article/page to show as the home page.
This is not the first time I have whined about Wordpress here on the forum. So here I am again whining like a cry baby. I am just really fed up of this platform. John Schwarts told me to use regular HTML and I was planning on doing that but I have got so rusty with building sites that I decided to practice a bit before I put one online. I think I am just going to let this site sit and rot while I get my editing skills up to par again.
Anyway, thanks for letting me let off steam. I am open and welcome to all comments.
